NIce power supply - exactly as described.
Great little power supply for my lighting project./ Works exactly as described. It is silent, and compatible with the lights I needed it for. The price seems right on point with other similar products.

great power supply for LED project
This is a great power supply. I got it for an LED project and it is working fine. Provides enough power to power the LED display.

Reliable power delivery
The power supply adapter provides a relatively clean signal, and gives plenty of current for driving WS2812B LEDs.

WARNING 5.5V out of the Box
WARNING: Check the output voltage before connecting anything to this power supply. I purchased this as a 5V supply for addressable LEDs and measured approximately 5.5V at the output. That may not sound like much, but for many 5V devices, LEDs, and microcontrollers, 5.5V is the absolute maximum rated voltage. A product advertised as a 5V power supply should not arrive adjusted to the very edge of the specification. Had I connected this directly to my project without checking it with a multimeter, I would have been unknowingly running my hardware at the maximum allowable voltage from day one. Most hobbyists buying this product are unlikely to verify the output before use. This is not a minor issue. A power supply is the foundation of the entire project, and poor voltage calibration reflects poorly on quality control. If a manufacturer cannot ensure a 5V supply ships reasonably close to 5.0V, it raises questions about what other aspects of the product were not properly tested. I cannot recommend this product. There are too many reputable alternatives available to risk powering expensive electronics with a supply that arrives significantly out of adjustment. Buy something else and save yourself the headache.

High quality replacement
Have a usb-3 laptop docking station that had its own 5v power brick. I'm really pushing the docking station while I work from home and have had a few instances where it stutters, or charging devices connected to it start disconnecting or trickle charging. The dock is rated to use 6.5a, and that's what the included brick provides, but I think it was struggling to provide a steady supply under full load Bought this since it adds some room above the top rate with 3.5 more amps available. it's got a normal 3 prong end too, so it plugs in more securely and takes up less room on the surge strip (the old one was a brick that plugged in directly and slipped out easier). Plugged in and it works great. Under load the dock now runs with everything at full power, and the stutters and disconnects have stopped completely. Only negative to this brick, as others pointed out, is the female end of the three prong that plugs into the brick tends to fall out or become loose. I had a spare male-female 3-prong cord, where the female end is a good 3-4 mm longer than the one it came with. This causes it to grab the prongs in the brick more snugly and stays in place. With this small substitution, it's perfect. overall, i'm very happy with this purchase.

Works as described
Used this to power my 50W led strip, used for an hour or so at max power, so far no issues. Good product.

Fit my needs
Used this for a corner light leds and haven't noticed any drop in performance of the leds with this power supply. I did notice one thing was that the cable that plugs in the wall wouldn't stay securely attached to the psu, it was loose and if the supply was upside down or on it's side the connection wasn't good enough that it wouldn't turn on or was intermittent. I plug in another pc cable i had and it's not an issue any more. But does beg the question if they test these things. The cable wasn't just tad loose it was noticeable. So it works and not worth dealing with returns and it's more than enough power for the leds i used

Important!!!
I used it on 8A device and it blowup from the side after 30 minutes of use only. Fortunately nothing caught fire. If you need it for high amps devices take at least double the required amps to be in safe side.
