I want to like this, but might not be for me. EDIT: happy with purchase
I only just received the product today and as I was unscrewing the faceplate to replace the money clip with the slimmer cash strap I noticed two of the screws were stuck. The others were easy to remove so this was an assembly issue. I chose to request a replacement instead of stripping the screws and doing any damage. As I went over the wallet and compared it to my trusty and larger leather wallet, I saw pros and cons to each. This is a front pocket wallet IMO, as it is too hard and I'm certain it will cause hot spots and tear the back pocket over time. But, I don't mind carrying this in my front pocket (opposite pocket of my phone as it will cause scratches). This will also carry with my car keys, which may or may not be an issue for me over time and the keys will likely scratch this wallet up. I may choose to go back to my leather wallet just so I can distribute my EDC gear around and move the wallet back to the rear pocket to avoid clutter. This is going to be a non-issue for some of course, but something to think about as it isn't super cheap. The design is great and I really like how the cards feel relatively secure in the wallet. I think you could toss this around and not have the contents fall out unless of course, you threw this into a hard surface like a wall, then I could see everything falling out. I think the same would happen with my leather wallet but I'm making the point as I'm sure some are going to wonder how secure it is.I also think I prefer this design with the straps on the long side with a notch at the bottom of the short side to push out the cards of the opposite short side. When you pinch the bottom to open up the top and fan the cards, you can more easily select a card. The Ridge and a few others have the cards come out on the long side and I'm not sure it would be as easy to fan the cards to select what you want. It seems you would have to remove all the cards and that would bother me over time. But that design looks more sturdy and snug. Something to consider.I love the reduction in size with this wallet, but I am losing the soft, contouring leather of my old wallet for this hard stack of cards. It almost feels like I fell for a pretty fad that just isn't worth it but I'll give it a few weeks to try it out.EDIT: I've used this wallet for several weeks and I can say I now like it a lot. It's great in the front pocket but it works fine in the back pocket, and I don't have hot spots that are digging into the fabric as I was concerned about. I also tossed my wallet around to see if the cards would fly out. Basically, I tossed it across my apartment along the carpeted floor like I was trying to skip a stone across water. It went about 20ft and only the bills looked like maybe they would pop out if I threw it a bit harder. My billfold leather wallet would have not held the cards but that may be a design issue. In the end, I have taken to the smaller size and I do not have trouble accessing cards. I do prefer how a wallet is more discreet with your cash though. I do miss being able to count cash in my wallet before pulling out bills. Now I have to remove all the bills from the strap, unfold and remove, and then tuck them back in.

Durable and simple
I’ve really enjoyed this wallet. It’s slim enough to fit in some of my coin pockets, depending on how much I keep in it. I use the money clip primarily as a clip onto a pocket for easy access. It comes with a few spare elastic bands and tools to replace them if they wear out, but so far it seems they will last years (I suppose this depends on how many cards you stuff into it).

I was hesitant to try, but it turns out it's amazing afterall.
I've been debating on this wallet over The Ridge. For those who are worried about the quality differential over Fidelo's cheaper cost, don't worry. Fidelo wallet delivers and it's quality is pretty damn nice. Here are my personal thoughts on this wallet. Just a quick FYI, I have it setup like this:- Grey Metal cover- Money clip on one side for cash- Cash strap on the other side for receipts- 8 cards in the middle.GOOD QUALITY - I was worried if the finishing touches are going to be inferior to what I would have gotten from more expensive wallets like The Ridge. However the edges are nicely trimmed and there are no sharp corners. The money clip is nice and strong, the cash strap has a polka dots of rubberized grip embedded on the inner side for whatever you decide to slip in. Depends on what you slide, it could be difficult since the rigidity of paper materials like a receipt wouldn't be strong enough to squeeze by the rubberized grip.ALL-IN-ONE PACKAGE - For the price of $53 (which what I paid at the time of the review) you get a wallet, three front plates (grey metal, black metal, and carbon fiber), 2 pair of straps plus 2 back up straps (2 for holding cards and 2 more cash straps), and 2 money clips (if you wish to use two money clips at once.) Also comes with a star shaped head screw driver, spare tip, and even spare screws.VERTICAL PULL - I like the vertical pull design over The Ridge's horizontal pull. I like that I can comfortably grip my wallet with one hand vertically and push from the bottom to eject the cards, versus The Ridge holding awkwardly top and bottom to push out the cards. This makes easy for me to pull out cards and insert back quickly.OBVIOUS DOWNSIDE - Money clip isn't the best way to carry cash obviously. It sorta slows you down and exposes of the cash amount to public. I can't imagine carrying more than 10 bills at a time since folding three times already makes the stack too fat for the money clip. The cards in the middle are more difficult to pull out, but a little trick that I do with this wallet is to push all the cards out and fan them out by pushing away horizontally. That way the cards are more visible and you can pull out a bit better. Also if you decide to carry receipts on the cash strap, you'll have to fold down your receipts tiny and this will obviously trouble you when you're organizing. But by the time you're looking at wallets like Fidelo or The Ridge, you're obviously willing to take such inconvenience factors. Here are some installation tips if you decided to purchase:- There are 6 ways you can configure this wallet. 1. Plain w/o any attachments. 2. Money Clip only 3. Cash strap only. 4. 2 Money Clips 5. 2 Cash straps 6. 1 Money clip & 1 cash strap.- Initial straps are setup to be pretty tight. If you decide to use more than 3 cards, this could trouble you on removing cards from the wallet. A good way to stretch out the strap so cards sit comfortably is to remove the face plates, insert all your cards to the wallet, and then install the face plates back. This way the strap is stretched out to your card configuration and installing the plates will secure your strap tightly in that loose setup.- When installing Cash Strap, try installing them on the opposite side where the wallet strap has sewn, which reduces the tension the face plate has to endure when tightened with screws. Install the money clip on that side instead.Overall I'm very happy with the product. I'll try to do an update in a bit and see if I noticed any more issues with it.

Good wallet, but check the box contents.
Solid minimalist design that firmly and securely holds cards and bills. The build quality of the wallet plates seem sturdy and have thus far been durable over the week. I installed the second money clip to separate large and small bills; and both hold multiple folded bills (15 bills pictured) firmly without issue. I do however feel as though some locktite would be beneficial when reinstalling the torx screws for the faceplate. The cards slide up without issue, and fan out to sort through & select the appropriate card when you squeeze the plate bottoms together. The negative scenarios I've noticed when opening the box were minor but still worth mentioning. There was no registration card in the box, no big deal, I hope I can still register online somehow for any potential future issues. The primary issue however is that the core band that came already installed has some wear and nicks. I'm not sure, but it may be from of the sharp edges where the band emerges from the faceplates. This definitely sticks in the back of my mind. The other cash bands and the additional core band that came with it look defect free. The provided torx screwdriver felt like I was trying to lift Thor's hammer to remove the top as my hands kept slipping. Some texture or ridges on the cap might help.Overall, this wallet has been doing its job without issue and save the above minor squabbles. It's been a nice change of pace.

Absolutely great Minimalist Wallet!
I was surprised by the feel and quality of this Minimalist Wallet. Fidelo has made a superb product, the wallet is beautifully finished, feels good in hand, is easy to operate and a pleasure to own. I have 6 cards in the wallet, 2 are embossed and 4 are flat. It is no problem to push the cards out select one and then return the card to the wallet. I also find that the money clip is useful and easy to use. Nice to have spare parts shipped with the wallet all contained in a high quality container. I highly recommend the Fidelo Minimalist Wallet!

Top verarbeitet, sehr schnell geliefert
Klare Kaufempfehlung.

It’s minimalist
I have used traditional wallets all m’ life. This is lighter and better. Some reviewers highlight that you are basically buying aluminium bookends, a clip for cash and an elastic band. And in some ways that’s what this is. But for me it’s well made, cool and it works.I’ll have to find somewhere else for my rail tickets and receipts, but it does handle cash, a few cards and my driving license. This is so much better than my old habit of carrying a bloated and overstuffed wallet.

Great wallet, amazing company
Editing my previous review because of the helpful email that came from the store.Simple and performs its function quite well. I was looking for a wallet to slim down my pockets, this was it. Keep in mind it is NOT COMPLETELY RFID proof, in that I mean that some ID cards are still scannable while in the wallet. This actually works in my favor as I prefer to not remove my work ID to enter the building. I was informed of I wanted this feature was intended this way, and I'm glad it was. For anyone wondering about specifics, it blocks the 13.56 MHz frequency which is commonly used for your credit cards, debit cards, passports, etc.The product is great and the company is even better.Restoring review to 5 stars because the company and the product are great.
