Blue Commercial 8,500mg/hr O3 Ozone Generator Air Purifier

While this unit does produce copious amounts of ozone, it does have its limitations. I wanted to use this unit during the off hours of my restaurant to help control the covid-19 outbreak. I a pared it with a outlet timer so that it would only come on when the restaurant was empty. However, I was unable to get the unit into HOLD mode. There is a hard stop in either direction and it will start its "count down" immediately whether power is applied or not. This renders the timer useless as the unit will be at zero when the timer say go! I posted a quetion as to how to get the unit into hold mode but there has been no response. The description clearly intimates a hold feature is available but I was unable to get there - - "Does not meet California requirements; cannot be shipped to California. The jeep i bought reeked of cigarette smoke. The smell Was so strong it made my clothes stink. I thought about setting the timer for the maximum 2hr cycle but decided 90 Minutes would be enough as this unit appears to be designed for 3500 sq ft space. 90minutes later you cant smell cigarette smoke at all. 90 minutes may have been too much. The smell of ozone is still pretty strong. 40minutes is the manufacturer’s recommended air out time. Im guessing thats for a 3500sq ft space. Ill have to let it sit with the windows down for a good couple of hours. I think 30mins would have done the job. Great device!!

Great. I bought this OZ Gen for odor killing purposes in some areas of my house. Attic, closets, rooms, after cooking odors, etc. It works fine. Right now we are using it for treat every purchase we made during COVID season, every mail we receive, envelopes, bags, etc. we put everything in the garage and apply one or two ours of Ozone. I hope it works for killing the virus as kills odor bacterias, fungus and some others. I have researched in the web and there are some studies about the effectiveness of the Ozone treatment against COVID19. My recommendation is that each one make your own research.

This thing works like a charm to eliminate odors and clean the air. I wouldn’t say it’s for small spaces though. If you run this in your home (we used it in our basement) don’t forget to leave for awhile. Even though it was put in the basement, I could tell it was on from upstairs. It definitely worked for our whole house.

We purchased this brand because a friend had lent us theirs and we loved it. The unit works as intended and eliminates unpleasant odors. You must air the house/area out after use (we always spray an air freshener so it doesn’t smell like a hospital).

Awesome product! Must make sure no people or animals are in room when in use and let ozone dissipate for an hour after machine turns off. Open windows or doors After process is complete to get rid of ozone that could irritate lungs

I bought this device and it was delivered today. It looks like the one in the photo. The user manual shows that it's model number is 'HE-500/O3' and also that it is a 3500 mg/h machine. There are several machines on Amazon that have a higher output than this one for a lot less money.Here is one that states it is a 5000 mg/h machine and looks identical to this one.
