3-1 Geared Roman Blind Sidewinder End Chain Control Mechanism, Unit, Hillarys,Spare Parts

I have an expensive Roman blind which I have been able to fix for less than £10, brilliant. The part was simple to fit and works perfectly.

I wasn’t sure if this mechanism would be the correct replacement for the one that failed. However, it was and therefore, saved my self a hefty repair bill from Hilary’s blinds.

Main reason for not giving 5* is that the cover must be prised off in order to fit the chain. This would be easier if supplied without this being assembled, but it would make for more packaging to make sure no bits are lost

This was a perfect match for my Roman Blind, easy to install (i had checked out some youtube videos in advance), definitely recommend.Only advice, there are different sizes make sure this one is the same as the one you're replacing

Easy to swap with failed part, works as well as the original. Gives more life to a ten year old blind.

My original sidewinder broke, so searched online for a replacement. After looking at many I found this one which seemed to match the dimensions and format of the broken one. It arrived in the time stated and it is a perfect match. I fitted it and so my blind is all working well. I did have to remove the old plastic chain from the old one, so some guidance as to how to do that would have been helpful. But after playing around with old one for a couple of minutes I sorted that out (do try the old first as you don't want to damage the new). My only advice would be to have the old one in front of you when searching as you don't want to order the wrong one and there are many different variants out there!

I was worried when out blind broke but thankfully found this mechanism to replace the old one. Really easy to fix and just swapped over the pulley chain to this one and installed. If you have a Dunelm Roman blind this is what you need as direct replacement. Arrived quickly and can’t fault it
