We use these for everything chocolate- chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip pancakes and for hot chocolate. Excellent quality chocolate, with great melting texture and taste. This brand supplies all the chocolate to Sees to make their candies, so you can be assured of great quality.

Good for mini lift. This is good small bite dark chocolate.

I've been a Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate chip girl all my life but the Guittard chips take my cookies to a whole new level. They taste exceptionally delicious and rich. The price is usually a bit more expensive but they are worth every penny. I sometimes add a few to my hot chocolate for a deeper, more intense chocolate flavor. Give them a try. They'll become a pantry staple for you as well.

Although the package says "baking chips," they are not the same size as "baking chips" of other vendors (such as Ghirardelli). Flavor is okay; I've had better, I've had worse. These are not "extra dark" in flavor. The texture is nice, and they are creamy when melted. But the taste is more semi-sweet than dark chocolate. I also don't care for the vanilla notes. Although I love vanilla, when I want chocolate flavor I want a pure chocolate flavor. I much prefer the taste of Scharffen Berger’s Dark Chocolate for baking--or even just plain eating right out of the bag.

Love these awesome dark chocolate chips. They’re my favorite chips. My issue is the false date shown for delivery when purchased. When the order was placed, it said the item would be ‘delivered tomorrow’. Two days later when the item had not arrived, I got an email notification that said the item would be delivered Feb. 26-29, some 10 days after the order was placed, BUT the email showed the original delivery date was supposed to be Apr. 2, completely inaccurate. From the seller’s perspective, even the delayed date was earlier than their perceived Apr. 2. So they think they’re doing me a favor & well within their shipping/delivery commitment. In reality, the item was more than late since it did not arrive next day as advertised, but rather arrived today, Feb. 29. I would never have ordered this item had the date of Apr. 2 been accurately advertised because I needed it far sooner than that date. So ‘next day’ was not accurate. ‘Apr. 2’ was not accurate. Please update your delivery estimate to reflect reality. Otherwise, you can really mess someone up who needs the item by a particular date.

Came on time and needed this inspite of the price hike due to cocoa production due to a fungus that is killing plants.

I add coconut oil to make the melt goes quickly with bain Marie ( underneath the bowl with hot water) don't put in microwave it will spoilt the chocolate. Use for my raw brownies topping.

If you are allergic or intolerant to dairy, these are a safe bet for your home baking. Plus they're delicious on their own.

Good value for money, very tasty, have lasted for ages and that's will using them for baking and as a snack.

Awful quality product. Opened a few days after receiving them, planning to make DIY chocolate chip cookie gifts for people, to find that the chocolate is going white! Very poor quality indeed, do not buy.
