Works for my small duck pond
This does not come witht the hose or fittings, but the ladies at ACE hardware helped me figure then out. I think I thought the power cord was the hose in the picture? I was presuming . . . It got clogged twice when I first installed it because duck feathers were getting wrapped around the impeller, but a mesh pump bag around the pump has solved that. My Skippy biofilter is filtering, the water is getting less green and now my ducks won't get out of the pond.

Longevity.
I have Four of these pumps for my Saltwater Aquarium, two are running 24/7. They last a long time, and restart after a power failure. During the Summer they get piped outside of my sump, to keep the heat down. Winter inside the Sump. You need a small hole in the discharge pipe, to keep the pump from becoming air bound if you use a check valve. Route this back to your sump, above the water line. Also DO NOT Clean the Pump with Vinegar, it will destroy the impeller. Use Food Grade Citric Acid. I use it in cool water One Tablespoon per Quart, in a container, outside the aquarium, and let it run about a half to a full hour. Rinse well and return to aquarium.

Product by Danner, appears used.
I have been without a pump for over a week, so when my pump arrived I installed it despite the condition upon arrival. The package was heavy plastic, the box inside was very wet and destroyed. This made me question whether this pump has been used. Also the pump is by Danner, I saw nothing In the info indicating it was Danner. Postmaster indicates in their web site that they are not affiliated with Danner. Pump has been working for a couple of hours, good that I had connections and filters as these were, not included. I do not recommend this product, perhaps I will if it is still working in 5 years.

Weak!
I’ve liked Pondmaster pumps in the past, but this one is way too weak. All it needs to do is create a slight spray in a fountain 14 inches above the pump itself. It barely dribbles out. No way this is 250 gallons per hour

What can I say. I love Pondmaster products as the perform well and outlive lesser pumps. I have a larger model used for a double water fall and this smaller unit to filter a small, landscape pond. Perfect!

WILL BUY AGAIN
LOVE THESE MAGNETIC POND PUMPS. MINE RUN 10 MONTHS OUT OF THE YEAR 24/7. SO FAR I AVERAGE ABOUT 5 YEARS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS, I DO BUT PARTS FOR IT FROM TIME TO TIME WHICH SAVES FROM BUYING A BRAND NEW ONE BUT YOU NEED TO AFTER A LONG PERIOD OF TIME

Pondmaster pump
Bought to use in a water feature. Has worked perfectly so far. I did add a timer to turn it off and on each day. Also added a filter to keep water clean and clear. Very happy with the function of pump.

Good fountain pump
Bought for a water feature. It's been running fine for a month now, so it's not really fair to rate longevity when you've just purchased something. Cord is much longer than I needed, but that's better than too short.
