I bought these to re-pot my shop bought herbs that have outgrown their pots.The planters arrived in the Amazon box with no other packaging or instructions so I’m assuming I’ve threaded the cotton correctly. So far they seem ok, only used the one so far and haven’t filled the water reservoir so it will be interesting to see if they can keep plants alive for a week, but fingers crossed for them

So impressed with these so far. So much so, a bought a second set. I have a small, unheated greenhouse on my west-facing balcony. It gets a lot of sun on hot days and I can’t keep up with watering. Potted my herbs in these and the soil stays perfectly and evenly moist at all times. Even in this hot spell we’ve been having over the last couple of days.

They don't come with many instructions but these self-watering pots are very good value. I've just grown my first set of radishes in them. The see through reservoir is a great help. The opening to the water reservoir is quite narrow so you need to use a funnel or pour carefully. The instructions are limited so you need to know that you need the white strips of fabric to trail in the water and be fed through the gaps.

These are great, I have them in the office at work filled with plants. You can just lift up the inner pot to water, there are cloth hanging from the inner pot to soak up the water. There is a see through side part, so you can tell if any water is required. I will buy some more for home.

Brilliant planters for the window sill. Herbs are starting to come through. The planters look attractive too.

Seems to work and is the perfect size for taking plants that will sit on the window sill. Had to look up how to thread the cord but my re-potted plants are doing much better now and watering through the little hole is a piece of cake, along with the window to see the levels. Must get more, soon.

ordered a 3 pack... one of the exterior moulds has a 40mm x 1mm gap because the window part was not attached properly so it will not hold any water rendering it useless... There's also excessive plastic that I assume would have been cut away if it had been moulded correctly. Should never have left the factory floor as it's clearly a reject.Update, Seller will not send a replacement and will at best only offer a 30% refund which makes no sense. Better off getting the £1 troughs and putting some gravel in the bottom.

Great size, great concept. The wicking action of the cloth strips is super effective, so perhaps not best for cactus type stuff, bit if your plants and hungry for water this one's a winner!
