Worked as advertised! Good quality, I didn't notice any foaming but it was easy to use and safe for the plumbing.

Second time buying this item. We had root issues in our septic line, and after using Zep Root Kill, the problem noticeably improved. Easy to apply and no strong odor. It gave us peace of mind and saved us from a more expensive plumbing visit.

Used in my septic tank and fieldline to combat a red maple tree. The wet patch seemed to dry up after about a month from treatment. I will buy this product or maybe try another just to see if I can keep from digging up my fieldline.

We have been using this for years and it does the job! We have a septic system and several trees on our property, so this has been a must.

i put this copper sulphate into my clean out next to my house last month. Since then my mainline is draining very slow. I wonder if this thing is blocking my mainline. 1/14/21 Thank you ZEP for super customer service in explaining how this root killer work. I had use this product for more than ten years already because my neighbor has a giant tree at the fence line and refuses to take it down.This year is the first year the mainline was blocked after application. I guess it is more effective this year because it had coated my whole mainline for a month. I don't have to use foaming root killer. I had put in 3 gallons of instant power, 2 bottles of k97,and 2 gallons of Green globbler to dissolve the dead roots. Today I have to snake it. There is no resistant whatsoever. My cobra snake goes in real easy. No blockage and no dead roots in return. Then after two loads of laundry , the line is all cleaned and running like a stream. Thanks to ZEP ,all mainline cleaner , and cobra snake companies!!!!! They all have very good customer services. I save $500 dollar and the hassle of hiring a plumber.

As far as I can tell, Zep Rootkill is working. No roots in sewer line. Also, the salt bush in the leechfield has died. So far, I am hopeful. I'll let you know if things change.
