Whats the difference between the HB3/9005 and the 9005?

A 9005 and the HB3 designation is for the same bulb.

Is this light bright white for high beam ?

YES it is not too bright like the high intensity bulbs out there. They are legal. My 1995 thunderbird original lights were old and dim plus the plastic lenses are cloudy. These bulbs are a BIG improvement over stock bulbs. The high beams are focused straight ahead and not too much to the sides. The light is white. I am very happy with the improved visibility I have while driving with them
