These are great but the screws supplied with them may be too long. Double check the height of the tree you are removing and figure out if it's best to use the original screws, the ones supplied are 1/4" longer. On my Tele I had to drill a little deeper to use the original screws because the height of these was 1/8" lower than stock tree. I was careful not to drill all the way through by putting a piece of tape on the bit so I knew exactly where to stop.

These make your guitar look nicer and they keep it in tune better. The installation screws are too big but a smaller screw usually comes with the old bent metal hook they put in most guitars.

The media could not be loaded.  I want Tele sound but don't want to learn new chords. It probably would have been easier to learn new chords. The neighbors will complain of the noise either way.

The rollers are not independent.If one turns the other must, they are fixed together on a shaft.There is a danger using the provided screws.They are too long for a standard Tele head stock's thickness.The head fits, but the shank is considerably longer than the tree body.This means the head stock would have to be counter bored to accept this long non threaded shank.This means a few less threads will have purchase.If it where not for this flaw, I would simply shorten the screw, so it would not come through thr back of the head stock.On the positive side.The string spacing is correct and the hight is fine, unlike the pricy ones from SM.What I really need is a three string tree.Using two (tines two) , where just the E B & G need a stiffer break angle causes grief with the D , which is fine other wise.Extra wraps on the G string post, almost gets a steep enough angle, for me.The price is right for risking a try.Good Luck Chris

I used the original tree screw on my 2022 Affinity Strat. Perfect fit. The rollers do not move independently. So not the best design. But I'm happy with my purchase

I would love to give this 5 Stars as the String Tree's work fantastic and completely solved my tuning issue. To top that off I thought there were only going to be two of them. Turned out there were actually four of them so my next build that's coming won't need new ones. The one thing that I did catch though and thank god that I did is that the screws are too long. I've made kit guitars in the past but just tried out my very first complete build from scratch. It turned out awesome but if I wouldn't have caught that the screws were too long I would have lost it while installing them. I measured the thickness of my headstock and it's the same as my American Telecaster so that wasn't the issue. The screw would have just pierced the opposite side of the headstock if I would have put them on. Yikes!Make sure to measure the screws!

It fixed the tuning stability issue I was having with E and B on my MIM Strat when using the whammy. Also decking the bridge improved tuning stability over all strings.

J'ai acheté ces guides pour remplacer la pièce d'origine en tôle pliée sur une Squier CV Starcaster. J'ai bien reçu 4 pièces avec leurs vis et même un mediator en cadeau. Les vis fournies étant plus grosses et longues que celle d'origine j'ai préféré réutiliser cette dernière, même si elle n'a pas la tête fraisée, ça évite d'abimer la tête du manche. L'aspect final est nettement plus valorisant que la pièce d'origine. Comme noté sur un autre commentaire les 2 rouleaux guides sont solidaires sur un même arbre, l'ensemble tourne facilement. Pour moi c'est un achat satisfaisant à (très) bon prix.

The roller string guides work fine I used the same screws from the old guides everything lined up the height produced a good string angle from the nut to the machine heads

They work well, and I I’m happy that there are four included in the bag.The only problem is that the screws are too long for my the headstock on my cheap telecaster. I just used the old screws from the cheap string guides, so it’s fine.
