Very cool little accent I added to a project gun. It's solid and better than the original part that was there. It was not however and exact match. I have and older model of the gun this is intended for. Functionally it's perfect. But it does not match the original part exactly so there is a slight space were talking a millimeter in the top corners of the were it seats on the back of the slide. (I'm very detail oriented and always catch stuff like that). That being said It's such a slight imperfection that Noone I've shown even noticed it without me pointing it out. Buy it does not effect the operation of the firing pin or trigger so I would definitely recommend.P.s. in case your reading this wondering. This is really ment for a S&W SD9VE and I have a S&W sigma SW9VE. Basically the same gun. Just Smith and Wesson got sued by glock over my model and had pay them like 10 bucks for every one they sold so they switched it up just enough in future versions to avoid that. I like mine it definitely runs like a glock but a little nicer looking. Like I said it's my project gun.
