I wanted to add Bluetooth to my old Sonos sound system and this did the trick. The product is neat, well made and gives surprisingly good sound. I got it up and running quickly despite the instructions leaflet which could be clearer (the numbering of the parts in the diagram was wrong). I was sufficiently pleased to buy a second one the next day as a present for my bother and he is more than pleased.

The positive: This little Bluetooth aux receiver works really well. It’s easy to setup and does exactly what it says in the description. And it’s very reasonably priced. The not so positive: There is a loss in sound quality. For most applications it’s not noticeable. I used it to attach to an older B&W system and there was a detectable difference in quality vs a cable. Verdict: For use in a car or with a fairly standard receiver it is good enough and good value.

I bought this product as it stated within the product's description that it was compatible with the B&W Mini Zeppelin. Even though I am able to pair the B&W with my i pod touch I cannot get any sound. However, it works OK with my JBL docking station. But I bought this product to enable me to Bluetooth effectively between the i pod and B&W Mini Zeppelin - very disappointed.

I have a hard wired audio system on my motorcycle and it works well. Just had to replace the GPS and it is only bluetooth audio. This little bluetooth receiver feeds the bluetooth audio into an existing three channel mixer and is a nice easy answer for my wired system.

The device worked well for 20 minutes then stopped. The battery was fully charged but would not turn on. Even when connected to the supplied charge cable the device would not turn on. I then but a SONRU Bluetooth 5.0 Transmitter Receiver as a replacement which was a little more expensive but far better reliability.

I used this for an old Phillips sound dock and it works brilliantly

The Layen Bluetooth receiver works perfectly as advertised....the sound quality is spot on and it works on anything with an aux plug-in...gonna unbox my old monster Kenwood amp....find my Bose 901’s and teach my grandkids how to properly listen to the Stones....turn up the bass and rattle some windows. Klein, Kompakt und genau die Bluetooth Verbindung die ich gesucht habe. Interessant für Autoradios ohne Bluetooth. Benutzt einfach die 3,5mm Klinke des AUX Anschlusses. Coole Sache, man kann sogar das Handy steuern damit

The receiver works great. The sound is crisp, the bass and high frequencies are clear. So far, the receiver has exceeded my expectations.

sounds great, but it’s a shame it can’t draw power from the device it’s plugged in to (probably an interface issue) or be kept plugged in via its own charging port (can apparently lead to battery death which can cause system failure). Would like to see a version with no battery an mains power for my B&W Zeppelin.

Purchased to allow a non-BT Bowers & Wilkins speaker work with BT equipment. It works. Im happy.
