This is perfect for my 5th grade son! He uses it daily for school, so I needed something sturdy and wouldn't crack after a month. 7 weekw into school, and It's holding up pretty well.

My son has ADHD and getting him to use a 3 ring binder was a hot mess of frustration. He would stack them in the front pocket, every class (he was in middle school last year moving to high school this year,) and the pocket would break, we could never find papers and they'd get crumpled from sticking out along the edges.I read on an ADHD organization forum that expanding file folders were helpful because they don't have to flip, open rings, or hole punch anything.WOW. My son used this for more than a year, the SAME one and I'm only buying a new one for high school because the padded part got 1.5 years worth of dirt/food/middleschool nastiness all over it.This thing is so worth the money and the padded canvas keeps it from ripping. The clear window keeps all of the papers inside, I thought about a zippered one, but knew he'd never zip it and imagined all of the papers falling to the ground... this one requires you to close the flap to put it in your backpack, which means the papers stay inside, INGENIOUS!Don't think about it, just order it. Especially if your child has organizational problems or you just want a highly durable folder for yourself. I wouldn't need the bulk of the padding for myself since I take great care of things, but kids surely benefit from the heavy use this folder gets and the soundless (no ripping Velcro or zipping zippers) in and out of the folder during class. this is an excellent folder for middle school and high school or any school with multiple classes.Only logged in to order another one, then thought I should review it.

I have struggled all of my academic career to keep all of my work together to make sure I can do my homework and get it all to class. I have found that an expanding folder like this one helps a lot because I can make sure I have everything in one place everyday. Other folders I've tried don't last longer than a year before the plastic expanding part starts to fall apart or whatever holds the folder closed comes undone. However, this one has lasted me two whole school years and I intend to use it this year. It really gets put through the ringer and aside from some normal wear.Once the one I have wears out I will be buying another one. This has saved me from having to buy binders every year or inevitably losing homework.

My son just finished his 10th grade year with this product and it performed so well. He stuffed it full, used it daily, depended on it - you name it. It was the nerve center of his backpack. Papers coming home to be signed, all homework sheets, many notes - they all had a place in this well organized file. We just took a HUGE volume of paperwork out of it and yes, after all that abuse, the sides did crack at the end of the school year, but he really beat the snot out of this. It worked! I recommend this item without hesitation. So much so that I just bought another one for him for the upcoming school year. I was really happy that they were 1) still available and 2) still the same price. Get one! Absolutely.

My 6th grade son uses this for one of his classes, and it's held up well over the course of the first semester. All of the tabbed sections are still pristine and the exterior has stayed clean, despite being tossed around in backpacks, desks, floors, car seats, under beds... All of the places a 10-yo boy throws his homework.The eyelets on the back came loose almost immediately, and just travel around the string. That's of little consequence, other than aesthetic.He does wish that the pocket on the outer back had a zipper. Anything he puts in that pocket (his calculator, pencils, etc.) fall out almost immediately. That space isn't very functional if you carry this binder in anything other than an upright position.

This is a very useful tool to gather related information in one place. Especially when it all needs to be at hand away from home. For example it is great for holding medical information, a section for each doctor, one for prescriptions, one for each health plan, etc. Especially useful when taking care of a family member. Or think about doing genealogical research for your family. Each surname in it's own section.The file expands generously, and the entire file is well made and seems as if it will last quite a while. I have been quite pleased as I have set it up and so far, it is making my life much easier.

This works great to hold our monthly bills. I like the see-through window and the visible tabs. I can see this having a lot of other uses due to those features....in fact I may have to order more.

To the color tabs you cannot see any writing through them whatsoever it's the light blue and the dark purple at the ends of the right. What's the point of having tabs better supposed to be see through if you can't see through them. Other than that the quality is a folder is really nice.

Great for filing any sort of documents you have laying around or things you need to file away. I used this for filing my school work and documents I needed for school. Got a whole pile of papers now off my desk and into this convenient and useful package. The file itself is durable and really does have a nice soft cushion on the front that feels very nice. It has fit almost 30 pages that I have put in and still seems able to fit more.
