These books are arrived on time and all packaged really well. This is exactly what the schools kindergarten needed. This journal is half way for pictures to draw and then half lined to write a story. Fast shipping too!

I love these journals as they are good for many ages. Whether a child is just starting to write or can only draw, they can combine both skills in this format. Space for drawing and writing. A parent can even do the writing for a very young child, but they can still feel like they are accomplishing the art of making a story.

When I opened the package, all the journals were bent when I had purchased a new order.

These are going to be keepsakes. Wish I had been encouraged to write more stories instead of always reading the stories of others. Can't wait to see the progression of my 5 yr old! Sure, I'll have to let her dictate to me, but she can transfer her own story to the pages, practicing her writing skills as well as her editing skills if she chooses. She's been talking about writing plays we can perform for Daddy and these will work great. Can't give a 5 star only because I don't know how durable the binding will be.

I would highly recommend this journal to any parent whose children are creative and looking for more ways to connect their drawings and writing skills. Within an hour of my son opening his first book (I bought the pack of 12 becuase of how quickly he goes through journals; and the bulk rate is better than the cost of one, overall), he had several pages filled with creatures he created and stories written to tell us all about them. He's now started using it to complete his end of the year kindergarten homework.

My kindergartner is having a blast with this product. She has been practicing her handwriting, spelling, and drawing for an additional 45 minutes a day while creating some wonderfully imaginative stories. Each journal has a page of uppercase and lowercase letters on the inside cover which is a terrific reference for my little learner.

Nice quality... My kid is 5 yrs old and likes to draw.. She now gets to draw as well as write about her drawing...
