Excellent mix, not mostly black pepper
Awesome, awesome, awesome. Unlike peppercorn mixes from other brands, this is a even mix of white, green and red in comparison to black peppercorns. Too many brands are mostly black. Fresh, fragrant smell and good taste. And based on per oz price, the best value for the money on Amazon. The fact that it's a well known brand makes this even better.

Fresh
These peppercorns are nice and fresh. I actually didn't have a spice grinder until recently so I just opened it (exp is 2024) and it's still tasting fresh. I have to say though, that my palate isn't so sophisticated that I can taste the difference between this Peppercorn Melange and regular black peppercorns. I normally just use a little for seasoning on eggs or other dishes so it's not like I'm using enough to really taste the difference. All that said, this is a good product and worth the price for the amount you get - if you need this much!

Lovely flavor
I prefer white pepper over black as I find that it has a more interesting flavor. This one didn't disappoint. Very good.

Easy way to add a little spicy kick to your dishes!
If you are like me and sensitive to super spicy food but still enjoy it, peppercorns are a great way to still get a little heat in your dishes! These definitely add a nice little kick for us spice wimps. :)We tried them both as is (whole) and ground up. They were delicious both ways! Whole peppercorns are great on corned beef, steak and pork roast while ground peppercorns on great on.... well, everything! I think grinding them makes them a bit more versatile as not everyone likes biting into a little ball of spiciness. The 15 oz container is perfectly sealed and the peppercorns tasted super fresh!I love that you get a nice variety of black, white, pink, and green peppercorns. However, you definitely get more black and white ones. No biggie to me, I enjoy them all! I mainly just use a pinch of the entire mix anyway, I don't go picking through them trying to find certain ones.As for flavor, I still find the black peppercorns to be the spiciest. The pink ones have a somewhat mild, fruity flavor, the white ones are similar to the black but not quite as spicy, and the green ones are more mild and aromatic.

Good pepper flavor with just a dash of heat
This is a good mixture and it has a different flavor with the red and white peppercorns mixed in. The red ones aren’t as plentiful as the others but I’m okay with that because those are the spicier ones and I don’t want too much heat in my pepper. These work great in my grinder and they taste fresh, especially since they are ground right when you use them. That gives them a bit more kick than pepper that has already been ground up. I like to grind them fine so that I don’t get big chunks, but if you like a strong pepper flavor then you will definitely get that from these. And if the spice level is too high, just mix this in with some regular black peppercorns to tone it down. This is a very big bottle so perfect for someone who uses a ton of pepper. The expiration date on mine is two years out so I’m not sure if I’ll use it all up by then but at least that’s a good length of time for them to last. They’ll probably last much longer than that, especially once you grind them up.
