I cannot believe how smooth this makes my lotions! I wish I purchased it years ago! And it runs silently. I'm so happy with this piece of equipment and highly recommend it!

The media could not be loaded. Once I was able to assemble the stirrer, the instructions were not so clear if you don’t know the parts by name. I suggest they should included parts pictures in the manual in the future. The unit works well and the amount I paid was fair in terms of value. In my test I used a 3000 ml solution it stir really well at low speed, I settled in at 460 rpm even when the solution went from liquid to a more viscous stage. When I set the machine over 700 rpm I experienced noise (not the machine but the actual mixing of product) due to speed and quantity of the sample.CONSMy unit has some deep scratches and stainless rods (both stirrer and the rod holding the unit to the base) are stripped off as of the unit is going to rust or is used.Tighten and loosening the clamp to adjust the unit is hard on your hands.

Looked great, led screen worked as indicated by manual. Wouldnt turn on. Recognizing sometimes one gets sent and the transport messes things up We sent it back same day and reordered. Lets try again.

Great for sauce or gravy

This is definitely an upgrade over my old overhead mixer, which was less than 150 watts. At 210 watts, this has enough power to mix even epoxies and other thick fluids. They don't include any photos of the back, but the back of the mixer is all solid cast aluminum with built-in heat sinks to dissipate the heat from running. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is...I don't know what the little clamp they include it supposed to do, but it really doesn't do anything. It could use a proper flask / beaker holder. But its certainly not necessary for it to do its job. Overall, I'm very happy with it. It sets up easy, is easy to operate, and has plenty of power.

The media could not be loaded. We recently purchased one of these units and after using it are very impressed with the value. Always check the output wattage on these units to get a sense for what they're capable of, if the wattage isn't there do you really think it can handle a large viscous batch? These units are powerful and the accessories (including the base) are heavy duty and well made. We will be checking Fristaden from now on whenever we need lab equipment. It seems like their business is built on the idea of delivering excellent value for the most commonly needed equipment, which is a niche that has long needed to be filled. I hope they are able to maintain their competitive prices coupled with quality.

What I like: Very easy to assemble. Convenient low to high speed levels, and speed dial moves very smoothly. Low noise level. Mixing is very powerful and gives good homogeneity.What I don't like: nothing. The mixer is worth its monetary value and great for starters.
