Great bag, heavy duty!
This is my second bag of this type. I bought my first one about 8 years ago and have loved it. I regularly overload it, carrying tons of art supplies and, sometimes, even a laptop in it. I used it nearly daily, going to classes, work and now teaching and it's a really substantial bag! I finally decided that I needed to replace it, as it was starting to look a bit ragged, and am extremely happy I was able to find the exact same bag still for sale. I would recommend this to any serious artist, student or teacher as a great way to organize and carry supplies wherever you need to go! I did replace the strap to the original bag about a year and a half ago, but that is the only thing that really "wore out." We still plan to use the old bag, possibly for our daughter's stuff, which will be a lot less wear and tear than I put it through!

Not just for painters
I love this bag. Helps keep my supplies organized. I was having to get very creative when it came to transporting all my supplies with me. This bag lets me carry all my supplies in each of their spots as well as my laptop. Now this bad is designed more for the painter in mind, with plastic liners for wet brush heads, a pouch for long brushes as well as hanging pouch for shorter brushes. Two side pockets for bottles, spray cans, or other similar sized items. The straps for carrying can be used for carrying tubes. As a pencil, charcoal, and pastel artist, I've used the spaces for my own tools, and still have extra space. My laptop stores perfectly, and is well protected. Good thing since I wasn't paying attention and knocked the bad off my desk with it in it. No damage. I put my phone keys, knife, and few other items in one side pocket, and my can of fixitif in the other. My pencils I store in the interior removable hanging pouch, drawing pads and planner fit nicely, even with the laptop, and all my pastels are stored in the front pouches. I use the large paintbrush case for my laptop cord, and the front two half clear pockets for cables, cameras, and extra storage. I still have tons of space not used and when it's closed it doesn't feel really heavy. Great bag.

Okay Art Bag for Art Professor; Shoulder Straps Weak
Bought this as a gift for my husband who is a college fine arts professor. He always carried too much walking out the door so I thought something that could carry everything so his hands would be free would be nice. He needed something that could carry his tripod, water bottle, paint brushes, sketch pads, charcoal pencils, and whatever else he had to carry to school every day. This seemed like it had it all. It arrived on time and was packaged in a regular plastic bag. Nothing fancy. Lots of pockets and compartments for organization. Water bottle pocket on the side is not deep enough and not wide enough for his water bottle which was a Contigo 24oz metal bottle (about 3" diameter) that we bought at Target. It fit, but it didn't look very secure. Oh well. Barely a month later, the strap rips. We contacted the seller to see if they could at least replace the strap, but they said we missed the deadline for return (by 3 days). It was probably my fault for not contacting them right away when we 1st realized the strap was ripping, but we got busy and kept forgetting to reach out. They said we had to contact the manufacturer instead. Not the greatest customer service for missing the return deadline by 3 days. Good thing I can sew better than the manufacturer so I fixed it myself. The lack of care made me give up and not pursue the issue any further. I sort of regret buying this just because of the customer service detail. I expected more from a bag that cost over $130. I would expect this from a $70 bag from Michael's but not this.

Sturdy functional bag
Found this to be a sturdy, durable and functional bag. Holds a considerable amount of art supplies yet is still manageable to carry.

The BEST MUSIC GEAR BAG on the market
I use this bag to carry musical instruments - flutes, whistles, notebooks, travel gear. It is far and away the best, most rugged bag on the market for the money. Durable, with plenty of pockets, a very comfortable carrying handle, fits a large laptop, I've traveled around the world with this bag. If you were an artist and needed to stow brushes, pencils and paints (what it's designed for), I think you'd be hard pressed to find a more versatile and affordable messenger bag. Top Rate!

Most impressive art bag ever!
I don’t write a lot of reviews. But I wanted to write about this bag. I did not want to like this art bag, it was too expensive and the pictures weren’t great. I did not see a lot of options with space and I figured I’d get it anyway and likely send it back. When I received it, I was surprisingly impressed with this bag there are so many different areas of storage and it is perfect for the artist or person who likes art for a hobby you will fit so many things, more than I thought I possibly could. I am quite happy.

Great bag for art on the go!
I have been looking for a better bag for my watercolor on the go for a long time of period. This one is just what I am expecting. The bag's size is just right, not too big, but still can fit in the watercolor paper pads of 11"x15" nicely. There are lots of room for everything including an iPad and a well-organized design as well. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.
