50 Amp Red Connector Battery Charger Battery Power connectors for Anderson 50Amp Red (8AWG)

I had to leave a review because the people leaving the 1star reviews aren't describing their problems correctly.Firstly, I got the 6awg which (copper) can carry every bit of 50 amps when the length of the run is short.Secondly, you need a good crimping toolThirdly, you need good wireFourthly, once you crimp the terminal end, it only goes in one way. There is a spring that it pops into.This is not a permanent plug end. you can take a screwdriver and push down on the spring clip to slide the wire out of the back. They can last decades when assembled correctly, but I would find something more heavy duty if you think you need it. We have dozens plugged into moving machinery and they don't wiggle loose or get hot when being used. They really are a good cheap solution if you can get away with it.

Everything seems good on these. The plastic is tough, the terminals snap together with a firm connection. I've only run 30 amps through these, but there is no hint of heating up at all. Would buy again....

I used these on my ham radio setup in my Jeep. I have six five radios run to a fuse block and the main power run through a set of these for quick disconnect and removal.

Used this connectors for my powerwall to my trailer with no issues, i plan on buying more when i add more battery packs

These and quality plugs and work well with all of the different brands.

Junk. Does not fit with real Anderson connectors. Do not buy

How can you claim the product is rated 50 Amps when the wire size the terminals accept are not rated for 50 Amps?A chain is only as strong as its weakest link.. The same principal holds true with electrical devices. This device poses a fire hazard to any user pushing more then 30A continuously through this plug.

They're not Anderson brand, but they seem to be pretty good quality. Tolerances are good, and they come with good quality contacts as well. I need these to be easy to connect and disconnect, without being prone to popping apart on their own or with a light tug. With proper crimping/soldering, these get the job done. Some of that will of course come down to technique, like making sure the wire leads straight away from the contact, but I didn't run into any problems with these. They shipped in a basic bubble pouch, which was adequate protection.

The inner clip does not allow the head connector to clip in to place and they will not make a completed plug as the head connector does not clip into place!!BAD head contact wire crimp ends !!! To Short to clip into place.I should get a refund but not worth the FIGHT ! ! !
