Very nice cabinet
I already own the Phil Jones C-8, so I knew what to expect and I wasn't disappointed. This cabinet is very light and has an excellent response, especially if you play slap bass. The lows are very good as well.

Amazing
I bought his amp to use for two purposes. 1) As a cabinet to pair with my amp for practice. 2) As a a second cabinet to add on to my 1X12 Orange cabinet during gigs.1) The size of this cabinet is perfect. It will fit nicely into even the smallest of cars. It could be lighter but it is still very manageable and can be carried with one hand. Plus it handles 300 watts without a problem and I do not get drowned out by the drums and guitarist.2) When I pair this cabinet with my 1x12 Orange, I am pushing 500 watts (split between the two cabs) and it keeps up without an issue (both my cabs are 400 watts at 8 ohms). The Orange provides me with the rumble I need on stage and the PJ Cab give a nice bright punch to go along with it. This set up has nice tone and competes with the other instruments on stage well easily. Plus the colors look great compared to the all black cabinet we are all used to.The build quality is exceptional. It is well made and very good looking. I have the red model. It definitely draws attention and questions are asked about it. The cabinet will not vibrate your teeth out like a 12 or 15 cabinet would, but when paired with a 1x12 gives you plenty of range and tone variations. The specs say it handles 400 watts at 8 ohms and when I run my class D amp (300 watts at 8 ohms) through it, the cabinet has no problem keeping up. Every detail is well done, right down to the quality of the hardware they use. Heck, it even comes with a nice amp cover for storing and transporting it. Usually you have to invest and additional $30-50 dollars for that.

Remarkable bass cab. Be different.
I pair this with a Mesa 1/12 and a Mesa d800. Thunderous rig. It sounds great on its own as well without the 1x12.

Plays a low B but no deep bass tone, and picks up every noisy nuance
The C4 does not have a deep bass tone. I watched hours of youtube videos of the Phil Jones cabinets. Read a bunch of reviews. They all said these cabinets are amazing, deep bass, punch, definition, etc. So, I tried a Cab-47 and I liked the smooth response down to the low B, and it had a nice deep tone. But it had the tweeter, which I can't stand on a bass cabinet, and it had too much treble and picked up every unintentional noise that before I didn't even know I make. So, a Phil Jones rep suggested the C4 because it doesn't have the tweeter. I bought the C4 and now I hear that it just doesn't have a deep bass tone and still picks up a lot of noise. It plays the low B well but my 12 inch Eminence Legend BP112 in a medium ported cabinet has a much better deep bass tone. So, does anybody wanna buy a mint condition C4?

Great For Nuanced Players
First off, I don't own one; however, my friend who plays a fretless Jazz bass with me at church has two of these and he also has the briefcase version. Every week he gets compliments on his sound and I'm spoiled by it too. It's a first rate product that has one of the most refined bass sounds I've ever heard. He does happen to be a monstrous player and that doesn't hurt. He swears by them too. For how tiny they are I'm constantly amazed at how loud they can go. He uses two of them when he does a rock gig. I want one for my rehearsal studio bad!As for our credentials, he's a BIT grad from 1981 and I've been playing for about 35 years also.

Amazing sounding cabinets
I bought 1 of these, played it for night and day , decided it sounded so good, that i would get another to replace my stage rig and go smaller and much lighter. They are 8 ohm so it works well, 4 ohm power head. This cabinets surprised my hard Rock band, they could not believe it hung with the Mesa and Marshall cabs. I play in 2 bands and do fill in work and these cabinets are awesome, really great.
