MAHLE OS32237 Gasket

Fits perfectly on 2002 Toyota Sienna minivan. No more oil leak at the oil pan.Installation was not difficult overall. The hardest part was to remove the oil pan from the car. I had to use a metal scraper to wedge into the old RTV , and wiggle the pan off.Also pay attention to the torque spec during the installation. Mine was 69 inch pounds. Too much torque will damage the bolts and/or the aluminum base.

FAST delivery. I had to return this though because I realized I had a blown head gasket and that became the highest priority. Sellers quickly responded to my return request and sent me a return label. I didn't open the product but it seemed to be of high quality. I WILL BUY AGAIN!

Gasket fit perfect on the new oil pan I had to purchase. Old pan was original and had 340,000 miles on it and plug began to leak. I will say that it fits perfectly but the original pan did not have a gasket only had sealer on the pan.

If your 1MZ engine has the (very curable) engine sludge problem, this gasket is a nice cheap short-term solution if you find the need to remove the oil pan repeatedly. Between cleaning cycles on my 02 Sienna sludge-monster, this old-school gasket held up reasonably well, buying enough time to finish the thousand(s) mile long desludge process without the headache of having to reseal the pan each time. After I was reasonably satisfied with the results, I tossed it and resealed permanently with Toyota FIPG. It is, after all, a cork gasket and can't be considered permanent.

Very good gasket if you don't over tighten ! Tightened bolts to 67 inch pounds the first time as the book recommended gasket leaked bad. On my Second gasket I used a1/4 ratchet and tighten snug no more leaks.

Good fit and the adhesive included help ease the installation process. Three week into the install and no leak around the seal.
