I needed ice packs for my hip bursitis. Everything I used including a pack of frozen peas, would never stay where I need it. This Magic gel is amazing. Two straps hold it in place. It is comfortable and definitely puts the cooling effect where it is needed! It says it stays cool for 22 minutes but I know it stays cool Longer.

I got this product in anticipation of having hip replacement surgery. I like the fact that it wraps securely around one’s leg, and seems to fit even my relatively small, thin body very well. Am sure it will, when frozen, be very helpful in relieving post-surgical pain. Reasonable price, quick delivery.

This is an awesome product, especially for someone recovering from hip replacement surgery. Once completely frozen, the product stays cold for an exceptionally long time. The fact that you can strap it to your body means you do not need to be lying down to ice your incision area. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the velcro bands and connections tend to get twisted easily, making attaching the pad to your body a bit challenging if you are alone. I do, however, strongly recommend this product!

It was a gift and it was very nice and useful

It worked OK on my hip after a replacement operation. I found that it was actually too cold on the skin if taken straight out of the freezer. It was easy to use though compared to a cold water jacket that needed a pump and tank with ice water in it. It is not easy to walk around with this device strapped to your leg. However most people will not want to walk further than the bathroom after their operation.

I had hip replacement surgery and am using this around 5 times a day for 3 weeks and it’s still holding up and staying cold. I wear 2 at a time to cover my long leg.

I got this to aid in recovery from hip replacement. They are fine. However, I found that i did not need the strap on feature, I didn't need to wear the cold pack around. A simple large pack would have met my needs, as i used it only when sitting or lying down.

Works great for a sore hip and you can walk around with it on

It’s a good size for the hip and freezes quickly - very effective. The straps are good but they are a bit short around the waist for plus size - I’m size 22 and they only just make it. Also the ‘tabs’ at the sides that the straps go through are hard plastic that can be uncomfortable if you don’t get the position right.
