You’re best to call the manufacturer directly if the allergy is critical, especially bc of potential cross contamination. If it doesn’t say it then there is possible gluten even in the air of the factory which could process other items with wheat, barley or rye.

I don't believe so. I ordered in February of 2017 and they were not expired. I don't remember checking the date though, but they were good.
