Kuyal Clear Chair mat for Hard Floors 48 x 48 inches Transparent Floor Mats Wood/Tile Protection Mat for Office & Home(48" X 48" Square)

Purchased to cover vinyl laminate flooring that i had to replace and didn't want my chair running over the newly replaced boards (including one i nicked during replacement and didn't want it to get bigger). Has worked well so far for the past couple of months. Keeps its form well for the most part unless i do something to push it against the edge of the table but even then, it is easy enough to straighten back out. Easy to clean also.

Perfect for large office to be under u shaped desk and three office chairs. Was easy to unroll and didn't take long at all to settle. I put under my large desk and three chairs. Smooth roll-on top, protects sensitive floating floor, see through so most people can't even tell it's there except its slightly shiny appearance. I'm quite frankly in love and highly recommend in whatever size you need.

Looks good and sturdy. But my chair is still slippery and not staying in place.

I puzzled over whether to buy a tempered glass or plastic floor protector. I was ready to spend more to buy glass but read a one-star review by someone who had one shatter on him and suffered cuts. A doctor friend also warned me that glass created a greater likelihood of a slip and fall accident, which I certainly don't want at my age. As a result, I went for this Kuyal plastic protector. It seems substantial and provides a nice view of the hardwood floor - much better than the opaque woven mat from IKEA that was there previously. Time will tell if it wears well, but it's inexpensive enough that I won't mind replacing it (if necessary) in a few years.

This mat arrived in a package so small I was sure there had been a mistake but the product was correct and it flattened out nicely and quickly. We have it over a luxury vinyl plank floor and the mat seems to be doing a good job keeping the wheels from scratching. There are two problems. Somehow dirt and pet hair constantly get underneath the mat. A bigger issue is as the chair rolls around on top of the mat the mat gets moved around. Every few days I have to remove the chair from the mat and unbunch the mat where it is mashed up against the leg of the desk.

Lays flat and smooth for my computer chair. Great size for smaller area. Exactly as described.

I have purchased 3 plastic floor mats previous to this one and a tempered glass one as well. This is by far the best of all!!!! All previous plastic ones moved around and "scrunched up" when my chair moved on it. The glass tempered mat was really nice but really expensive and could not be put underneath or near any table legs for fear of breaking. It also kept cracking when I stepped on it. For over $200 bucks I thought the glass might be the way to go but it was NOT so I therefore returned. Make sure to keep your packaging if you buy one of those...they will require it be returned. Then I was lucky enough to find this one. This barely moves at all. I do not have to adjust it on an hourly basis like all of the other ones I have purchased. It is simply THICKER than other brands so while you do have to unroll it, put some weights on it to let it warm up is simply amazing. FINALLY I HAVE FOUND THE PERFECT FLOOR MAT for my office! Of note..this is being used on a level surface LVT flooring. I, much like you, probably don't know what to buy on Amazon as you never know what you will get. I highly recommend this one.

I bought this to protect my hardwood floor in the office from my chair. It does alright, the edges do curl up a bit but not much. It's held up so far over 2 years.

The plastic mat bunches up when rolling my office chair over it. Even though the top part of the mat is under my desk's legs and is secure, as I roll my chair around, the plastic starts to bunch up and needs to be constantly flattened. Looks like I'll have to use double sided tape to keep it flat.It also attracts hair and dirt very quickly.Otherwise, I like the mat, it is saving my floors from the constant rolling of the chair over the floor.EDIT: I used double sided tape to keep it in place. Works great now.

We needed something to go under our little ones high chair as she throws food far and wide onto our carpet. This is perfect as it's wipe clean, clear (so doesn't spoil the look in the room) and can be rolled up for easy transport if you need to take it on a trip.

Still going strong after a few years. Quite happy about the quality. I use it every day with satisfaction. Recommended.
