Amazing Bang for an Amazing Buck
I bought the Soniq Rush 2.0 when my lower end Xbox 360 headset started having some volume issues with MW3. I have used it on a pair of TB Kilos so far and when I game and can barely turn the amp past 2 or 3 without it being so loud it hurts, which is amazing! Without a DSS headset it doesn't do well with what direction noises are coming from other than left and right but you can hear vehicles, footsteps and shots (suppressed or not)from a great distance. It really started to shine though when I started listening to some music with the headphones on (rare for me) but after hearing the difference I doubt I'll listen to music at my place again without a pair of headphones and the Soniq Rush 2.0 turned on.Obviously a hardcore audiophile or someone willing to drop $160-200+ on a headset without hesitation may want to go a different route on a fully adjustable DSS processor but for someone on a budget looking for a way to fully enjoy music/movies/games at home with disturbing the peace, these will most definitely do the trick. I would obviously (and already have) recommend to my friends.

Good Idea but needs work (updated)
This is a good item in theory but it needs some improvements to be more user friendly. The 2.5mm connector that plugs into the xbox controller (the most important connection in this system) is too small for xbox OEM controllers. This means you have to wedge it to one side so your friends can actually hear you talk (very annoying). I contacted Xjacker about this and received an email back asking if I wanted to try a strain relief they came up with to help hold the connector in the right place. I replied sure send one this was two months ago have not heard anything since. Now another huge oversight in my opinion is the lack of separate chat and game volume control like the turtle beach models. This requires you to go into your Xbox system settings and adjust the chat volume and then go into your game and adjust the game volume to where you can hear things somewhat ok. But if you have friends that are either very loud or very quiet you are screwed as there is no way to balance it out on the fly. You can lower the volume to tolerable for loud people but then you cannot hear quiet people. I used this for about two weeks before abandoning it for my Turtle Beaches again.Updated Sept. 29th 2013After a catastrophic failure of the turtle beaches I went back to this and an over the ear mic at the same time. Now this gets a one star rating the stupid little adapter that plugs into the amplifier, your headphones, and the controller (yes all one piece!) has almost completely stopped functioning. I have two kids so I use my headset and mute the TV with this not functioning for chat already I bought a $10 over the ear mic at walmart and use the earbuds with this amp and the headset over top. well with the little adapter not working right I have to plug my earbuds in halfway and twist the cords just right to get any game audio. pretty much cheapest piece of junk head set out there. buyers beware

Nothing but problems
For me, mine had tons of white noise and sounds that made in unusable. Also the 360 mic wire didnt work for me, and the mic adapter itself has problems. Just buy a more expensive mixamp.

audio splitter broke off in receiver after only couple of weeks.
i purchased to use with corsair headset.i haven't used my soniq amplifier much because the red/white audio splitter cable broke. the pin connector somehow broke off inside my receiver, how? plenty of clearance behind the receive, a fluke if you ask me. i noticed i was only receiving sound from one speaker and looked behind receiver and found the cable dangling so i will have to buy a new cable to use the amp.

Functions Well but Setup Can be Tricky
I purchased the TekNmotion XJacKer Soniq Rush 2.0 Gaming Amplifier to go with the TekNmotion Intruder headset.Upon hooking it up initially there was a loud buzzing noise and I could not get the microphone to work at all.I checked the XJacker website, when through the troubleshooting steps and only managed to get it so that the microphone worked but was very quiet.I ended up contacting XJacker support, which responded almost immediately via email. It turns out that voice chat needs to be set to play through speaks in order for it to work properly. After changing this setting it worked flawlessly. The amplifier does a great job and the buzzing noise was reduced to a hardly noticeableelectronic hum.Definitely worth the investment if you need a way to hook up you PC headset for Xbox. Just be warned there are a lot of cables so it won't be a particularly quick setup unless you leave some of the cables plunged in between play sessions.

Terrible product. I bought this to try to hook up my Razer Kraken Pros to my Xbox 360 and all I heard was a loud screeching noise when I slightly moved the headset. Don't buy it's a waste of time and money. You're best off to get the Astro Mix Amp, it's expensive but definitely worth the money.
