Accidentally on Purpose: Season 1

Never a fan of Jenna Elfman, but she is wonderful in this. She was dating her boss Grant Show and they break up and she has a drunken fling with Jon Foster (he is so sexy) she gets pregnant. He wants to be a part, he is broke and young 22 yrs old to her 37. I was actually laughing out loud. I really wish it had not been cancelled, don't know why it was. Except for my curse, I like the tv show it goes away. This is why I don't watch tv. You should watch this though, very raunchy and funny. and Jon Foster is gorgeous.

I enjoy watching Jenna Elfman so much, and I LOVED Dharma and Greg. This show is different from D&G, Jennas's character, Billie Chase, is a more down to earth, career woman, and she is just as funny. The premise of the show is that Billie has been dating her boss at the newspaper where she works, when she decides she wants more from the relationship. The boss doesn't, so she does the only sensible thing she can do, break up with him. She is gambling on the hope that he will miss her and want to move to the next step. Except, he moves on..to Kate Moss. Feeling bad about herself she finds herself in a one night stand with a much younger guy and accidentally winds up pregnant and so begins the very funny (and touching at times) journey of Billie Chase as she navigates the decisions involved in being a single mom who is almost forty. The cast of characters is a great ensemble and the all contribute to a great show. Parental warnings: this show covers one nite stands, unwed mothers, and pot smoking. Today's teenagers are pretty up on all that, but you know your own kid. I would not recommend this for anyone under thirteen, and then I would watch it with them to correct any wrong impressions they might get.I watched this set so much, I had to buy another set! Some fall out of your seat laughing moments, and Davis the loadie friend, steals the show over and over.

I saw this movie on a trailer and ordered it. I like the movie and was not disappointed.

This was an excellent, fully-developed sitcom cancelled way before it should have been. They didn't even get to explore the family dynamics. Jenna Elfman is gorgeous and funny (and her cleavage is out at least half the time), and all the supporting cast is stellar. This DVD set also has a number of great extras. So, CBS went all-out on ONE season of Accidentally on Purpose, for DVD release, but not any care into a second season. They left Friends on for how many seasons? If you like sitcoms, and/or Jenna Elfman, and/or good ensemble casts, then this is a no-brainer. It is worthy of your $7.

Love this program, saw it on Netflix or Hulu a while back. Its no longer on either Netflix or Hulu. Now I have it to watch whenever I like.

Darhma and Greg was more family friendly and funnier compared to this show! It's too bad because I used to be a big fan of Jenna Elfman until I saw this show. It's OK but older generations tend to get disgusted at parts of this show. The first two episodes were good but the 3rd is where it got more adult verbally (save that stuff for adult films please). No wonder this show didn't last long!

Classic Jenna Elfman!

I'm so happy I found this show offered, because I really like it! Amazon Prime used to offer it, and I watched it and really liked it! I just wish they would have had more seasons of it. It is really really fun to watch!!

It is a shame there was only one season. Super funny.
