This plier is very solid, well made and can't go wrong. I used it replace the clamps on the CV Boots of my 2001 Toyota Tacoma. A must have in the tool box.

This is exactly what you need for the Oetiker low profile clamps. This was used for the clamps on the intake of a BMW S54 inline six cylinder engine and worked perfectly for installation. You can also use them to remove the clamps but it can be a little tricky to do without destroying the clamp until you get the technique down; I would recommend replacing the clamp if it is feasable though.

Great, same or better pliers that John deere sells for a 10th the price. Deeres price was 180 dollars.

Because of the previous reviewer's bad experience, I was a little nervous using these because they are definitely a little bit different in the area of the points when compared to other pliers made for these types of CV boot bands. However, I had no trouble at all today when I used them for the first time. These pliers allowed me to effortlessly install the factory Toyota CV boot bands on a Lexus ES300 (of course, Toyota uses two totally different types of bands in their factory kits, this tool obviously only works on the ear-type).

feels solid and worked perfectly for the outer cv boot clamps on my '01 polaris 500. Could you do it with small needle nose pliers? Probably, but these make it 100% easier

I used the tool to repack front LS460 AWD axles. It worked great but requires some practice. It needs to have a little stronger build as it flexes as being used.

Great pliers for Arctic Cat CV boot bands. I no longer have to destroy the bands getting them off, and I can get them back on with ease instead of using the aftermarket ones, they suck.
