Review for BYMORE 1200 Pcs Disposable Plastic Gloves Bulk, BPA & Latex Free Poly Gloves for Kitchen FoodObviously, these are not recommended for medical use & this is not medical advice, JMHO of using different types of gloves for decades.Having purchased these at the $1 store (we now unofficially named it the $1.25 & Up Store) for a while (100/$1.25), I decided to check out Amazon & saw I could get a huge supply for less per glove, I immediately switched.My 4 most used purposes are as follows:Kitchen: Handling raw meat, dipping my fingers in olive oil or coconut butter to apply to something else, handling raw garlic & onions.Gas station: Ever think about how many people before you have had their germy fingers around the pump when you pick it up? I have a small stash in my glove compartment & always use when I gas up.Cats: Picking up cat hairballs & the sometimes-yuck that comes with it. Super-yuck or poop & I wear 2 gloves on 1 hand. Learn to pick up with pads of fingers rather than fingernails as your nails will pop right thru & gather some of the material you were picking up. Of course, this will happen also if you are double-gloving latex or vinyl examination-type gloves. I speak from experience.Hair: Extra set to use while applying or rinsing various preparations out of my hair. These are better than some of the gloves that come with hair dye kits. Not all, just some.Crafts: Limits any over-spray on your hands when using spray paint.As an RN, I'm super-conscious about wearing gloves for protection from many health hazards we pass from our hands to our mouth, eyes, & nose, In professional practice, I always go by the nursing procedure of washing hands first, donning gloves, do your business & wash your hands afterward, then disinfectant foam or gel afterward if possible or instead of, if soap & water is not available. That's why I also carry hand sanitizer in my purse & car, I still follow this routine with these gloves, except for washing before I put them on around the house.I used to use vinyl & latex gloves in the same way for the same activities around the house listed above, but that proved fairly expensive since I use them every day & had to double glove in some cases. While these Disposable Plastic Gloves may not protect as well against everything, consider that you eat food prepared (hopefully) by food workers wearing the same quality of gloves. Vinyl & latex are not bullet-proof either. A long time ago during an in-service, I learned that pathogens such as HIV could slip through the pores of latex gloves in some cases. From that day forward, I double-gloved. One advantage of double-gloving when cleaning up something messy, medical or household, is that if your gloves get very soiled, you can pull off the top pair & still have a fresh set of gloves on and can put a fresh set over these or just carry on with your clean-up if it's not that big of a job.For those with smaller hands, I found a not-too-tight rubber band (so it doesn't cut off circulation) helps keep the gloves on, especially when double-gloving it for big messes.

For people with large hands these will be tight or may not fit at all.

These gloves are not a substitute for the more expensive nitrile gloves when you need to have dexterity for precise work. That said, I have found these gloves to highly useful. They are inexpensive, so you can change them frequently while working in the kitchen or elsewhere. I use these gloves while handling raw meat, for example while trimming a brisket or running chunks through a grinder. They are also fine for carving roasts or cutting poultry. I also use them for taking bread dough out of the mixer. However, I would not use them for precise working of the dough such as rolling pretzels or bread sticks.I did not encounter problems with the gloves tearing, as reported by another reviewer. They are strong enough for basic food handling or for other tasks such as operating a pump at the gas station. They would not work as a mechanic's glove however where high strength and a tactile grip are needed.For the right uses these gloves are much less expensive than nitrile and good to have on hand. The sub-divided packs of 100 make it convenient to keep some in the car, kitchen, and anyplace else where they are useful.

The gloves are sufficient for the simple purposes that I bought them for, which is just to allow me to clean up the backyard after my dogs. However, I was a bit disappointed in the fit. The ad says one size fits all and shows a picture of a hand inside a glove with lots of room to spare. However, when I put them on, my fingers are making an air-tight fit around several of my knuckles and if I try to close my hand into even a loose fist, the air in the end of some of the fingers puffs up. I think if I closed my fist entirely, the fingers would pop. While I am a man, my hands are not huge by any stretch of the imagination, so whoever they used to model these gloves must have the tiniest of hands!

We and grandchildren use these when we pick up after our doggies. What's nice is they are not huge. They fit an adult hand well, but they're so nice and flexible. The smaller hands can get them to fit, too.I appreciate the quality and how quick and easy they were to order

These gloves are extremely thin - plan on using double or triple layers of gloves, Because they are so thin they break easily, size is very small obviously for a very small person's hands.

What can I say? They are gloves. Work for what I need them for. Great price.
