Great filter for my aquarium - works well at keeping the tank clean

Probably overkill, but I use these in a 2 gallon shrimp cull tank just to give me an edge over potential spikes in toxic substances. It also keeps the water crystal clear.

They work great in the fish tank! Have been ordering these from Amazon for 3 years! Cost is great also!

Pros: My remained water super clear, no cloudiness from the carbon like with other brands Cheap for what you get Very versatile, many filters use one giant pad whereas these are for filters that use 2-4 pads, so you can change one or 2 out at a time and maintain biological filtration. Cons: Just barely fits my Marina 360 filter. The 2 filter pads that came with it have a plastic backing, while these have filter floss on both front and back. I only changed one cartridge out and it was a super snug fit with the new one in, so I probably can't fit 2 of these in it.

I purchase these filters in a regular basis. Easy to install, work great and keep the water clean for 3-4 weeks. Fits perfectly and you have to make sure the writing SIDE A always facing towards you when replacing the filters.

Whoever said taking care of fish is easy has never properly cared for one. Caring for fish means weekly maintenance/checks and monthly full cleanings. Of course, this process has been made easier with filters, automatic feeders, and bottled water treatments. When I found this I was extremely happy! I worry less about my fish and am able to regularly maintain their tank. I would recommend this product to those who have a Marina 10-gallon tank, but don't always have the time to go to the pet store. It's convenient and fair-priced. I'm a college student with a Marina 10-gallon tank. I bought the tank at the local pet store almost a year ago, but after a few months they jacked up the prices on filters! My budget was (still is) limited to the leftover money from my paycheck after the bills, groceries and gas, so some days I felt like I couldn't afford paying $8.99 per 3/pack every two to three weeks. This pack was such a life-saver!

Couldn’t get these in any store for my generic hang on back from Amazon so happy when I found them, I just kept reordering over & over. Size was perfect. Water quality almost immediately improved & they were so cheap in comparison to other hang on back filters. Durable, long lasting & easy to clean until end of life was near. Easy to use also: take out of packet and rinse then insert. Sadly I have those fish away & retired the tank & filter but it was a good ride. The HOB & filter media’s gave me a good service. Defo recommend these.

Cheap alternative.

Perfectos para mantener mi acuario en óptimas condiciones. Son caros pero se pueden reutilizar lavándolos con el agua del acuario que vayas cambiando, para mantener las bacterias y nutrientes. Pongo dos de estos y otro que compré a la vez en mi filtro de cascada

… adaptés pour poissons rouges mais pas d’aussi bonne qualité que les spéciaux poissons rouges, ils se salissent plus vite et il faut donc les changer plus régulièrement.
