I bought this for my 2 girls and they loved it. My oldest one took it with her to her university. She said when she misses home, she'll play it.

It was a cute gift.My mom loves it.Make sure you realize it is quite small.It is a manual turn. Reminds me of the old Jack in the Box.I saw some other reviews and it is a little plinky.However, if you know the tune and turn as if you were humming or singing the song, it isenjoyable and you can hear the tune.For the money, it is a nice product.

Bought two of the music boxes that play "You Are My Sunshine" for my grandchildren for Easter. They are very cute, and I'm sure they will like them. The sound is, unfortunately, not the greatest. It's kind of "tin-Y" sounding. The grandchildren won't mind, and I'm sure they will love them.

This is cute for a your kid to give mom as a gift. Kinda like the little work shops they used to have in elementary for kids to buy mom gifts on mothers day. It's effective decently built yet cheap. Has no practical use and not really ordimental but still something that works and mom would cherish. I'm not at all knocking this little hand crank music box. It plays well is better then dollar store but I wanted to give everyone the view a man who bought this as a filler item for the kids to give to their mom on mothers day. Plus it made it easy to hide the big present by slipping the car key inside the box for her to find.

Plays music nicely. Not too loud. The box is cute. It's a nice inexpensive gift.

This was a cute gift for mother's day. My mom used to sing this to my eldest daughter and now to the newest addition. She loved it from the moment she heard it.

Its small, its cute, its timeless

I saw this music box and was excited to purchase it but a little disappointed.The package came in a little box that the music box was in, and it was dented like it wasn't handled with care. The nob that you use to play the song sounds a little squeaky and rough to turn. The faster you turn it; it still takes a while for the melody to flow. I was expecting it to be a little more put together after seeing all the reviews... everyone loved their music box. It's cute but also the inside of the mechanics looks sort of rusted. I don't know if I received an already used box.
