Accurate product description
Product was easy to install & did work as described in description. You could feel how it had tightened the subfloor to the floor joists when stepping on the floor above their attachment.Unfortunately it did not stop the squeaking hardwood floors above; this was not the products fault.I thought the squeaking hardwood floors nails had pulled away from the subfloor but did not want to use the Squeak No More snap-off screws first because it requires filling screw holes in the floor.

Product Limitations
Ordered this item to reduce floor squeaks. When first attempting to install I found that the bracket is limited to 2" X 8" floor joists. Mine are 2" X 10" so I had to modify with a longer bolt found at my hardware store, which also required drilling and resizing the bracket holes to fit the longer and larger diameter bolt. The bracket worked for a while once I finally installed but I need more brackets, and these are more expensive solutions with the necessary modifications than originally planned. It seems to be a good concept, but the cost and limitations leads me to seek other solutions.

Did the job
We used this product to help with our squeaky floor boards and they worked. The only issue we ran into was that the joist was longer and the #10x5/8 inch wood screw would not reach. We had to replace the wood screw for a longer one (Only found them at an industrial store). It would have been great to be able to choose from different screw sizes.

Be careful!
Just be sure you actually want to go down this path. It'll stop the squeaky spots, but you'll soon realize just how many you actually have.

Cheap materials
The idea is great. The problem is it just bends when you add the tightness needed to remove the sqeek in the floor.
