I purchased this replacement filter set for my Coway Airmega 400/400S, and I am extremely impressed with the quality. The fit is perfect — it slides into the unit just like the original filter, locks in securely, and the purifier recognized it immediately without any issues. No forcing, no adjusting, no gaps. Truly hassle-free. The filtration performance is outstanding. The H13 True HEPA layer is dense and well-built, and you can feel the difference in airflow and clarity once the purifier starts running. These are very high quality in both fit and finish and seem to work perfectly in my 400S units. Its difficult to measure effectiveness relative to the AIRMEGA brand filters, but based on quality of construction and materials, I believe they serve their intended function effectively.

Excellent product. As good as OEM

I really like my hepa air cleaner, but like anything that can help you be healthier, that comes at a sometime higher price. I bought these through the clearance side of Amazon so I guess I shouldn't necessarily expect these to be brand new, never used. 2 of the 4pk were opened & just placed inside a clear wrapper, the other 2 are sealed & appear to be factory fresh. I can't say positively that 1 or both of the opened filters were used, they did not have a brand new appearance to them, but I got a pretty good price for this set of 4. I've been needing to clean or replace the current set, as we've had a horrible, HOT & super dry summer so I cleaned up the system, cleaned the initial mesh pre-filter & threw in the "open" filters. Seem to work well, just not sure that these weren't already used by a prior customer.

So far so good! Would purchase again. As far as if they are actually charcoal I do not know but will open and update when they are replaced.
