The qaulity and workmanship are noticed as soon as you open the box! box
When I ordered the apex scooter from Go Trax I have to admit I was a little skeptical of the size and quality due the price point compared to other scooters. When I seen the box my worries subsided and curiosity took over. The weight had me thinking it must be much bigger then I anticipated or I might have got the wrong scooter but when I got up all 3 flights of stairs I found out that I did infact recieve the right scooter and would find out I made a good choice in the Go Trax Company. When I seen it was the same size as the bird and lime scooters I ride every time I need get accross town in a hurry. The Apex is perfect for someone who lives in the city as the 15.5 mph and Cruise control makes cruising around town much faster and a much smoother ride. It has disk brakes and 8.5 inch air filled tires. Its size makes it really stable while riding and the bigger tires are really great because you dont have to worry nearly as much about small holes and debris as I did with my previous scooter. The small tires were the biggest reason for the upgrade to the apex because I rarely felt completely comfortable just crusing because I was always worried about hitting a big hole or something in the road. I even had a spill or 2 as I was learning due to the smaller tires because you feel every bump and even a smaller size rock can land you on the pavement,so that is always on your mind with the smaller wheels. When I researched which scooter was the best fit for me, the GoTrax wasn't my first choice but Now that I've had it for a few months I know I made the right choice. The quality is the first thing you notice right out of the box. Its put together very well and the qaulity of parts and workmanship is very noticeable with the first ride. It rides Very smooth because of the air filled tires but im thinking of switching to the solid rubber aftermarket tires. I have had a few flat tires due to all the debris around the city and the solid tires will prevent flats but im afraid I will feel every bump and hole much harder.I have been using a product from slime that you put into the innertube and it seals it from the inside so you dont have to so much as loosin one single bolt and it seals very well. The battery on the apex last for around 15 to 18 miles per charge and charges very fast at about 5 hrs. The apex is by far the best scooter I've owned and will be purchasing from Go Trax every time I get anything in the electric scooter market! They have a huge selection of scooters for every purpose from offroad riding to long distance trips around town. I have also researched price points from many different companys and found Go Trax to be about the best priced on market which had me very worried when first deciding to order from Go Trax as I've found out many tomes you often get exactly what you pay for and scooters are no different. I found many company peddling what looked to be low qaulity and many design flaws due to making the cheapest scooter they can market. I learned first hand that the smaller scooters are not nearly as fun to ride because your always so focused on every bump so you dont end up on your backside. To be honeat some of those cheaper ones didnt look safe at all and would never trust one at full speed. Ive seen what seems to be smaller and smaller tires as the price point comes down which makes them dangerous to the younger and unexsperienced riders! So of your looking for a decent sized and well designed scooter then Go Trax is the company for you. The Apex model has all the bells and whistles for under $400 and is just as big as the bird and lime scooters you can rent around most major cities. Trust me the size is about the most important thing to get right because if your not confident in the scooter you buy then you wont have as much fun because you cant let loose and just cruse which is the whole reason for me purchasing the scooter, so size was the deciding factor for me after owning a few different models. Qaulity is very important to because if you dont have confidence in the quality you wont be able to let loose either because you will always be worried about something breaking. Hope this helps in your future purchase and hope you find the right model for you.

Excellent Commuter Scooter with Great Performance
I’ve been riding this Gotrax APEX scooter for a few weeks and it has exceeded my expectations. It’s lightweight but sturdy, folds easily, and the ride is smooth even on uneven pavement. The digital display is large and clear, and the speed and range are perfect for my daily commute. The battery charges quickly and lasts longer than I expected. Definitely a great value for the price.

Great everyday scooter for around the neighborhood
I purchased this Go Trax Scooter to ride around the neighborhood with my kids on their non-electric, bikes, or hoverboards. I’ve been using the scooter for 5 days now and so far I have been very satisfied.Right out of the box, the scooter was easy to assemble. First connect the brakes using a little muscle to twist and adjust. Then I just needed to attach the handlebar using two screws and Allen wrench to tighten. Before first use, I fully charged it for around 4-5 hours by using the included charger and connecting it to the charging port near the rear wheel. There is a rubber cover to protect the port from the elements. Red light means charging and green light means all charged up.The scooter locks while in the upright position and there is a built-in kick stand. To fold, use the pull pin and red lever located behind the front wheel at the same time. Two hands are needed so there wouldn’t be any accidental collapse. When the scooter is folded, the handle bar clips into a tab on the rear wheel. There are so many features for convenience and safety. The brake is on the left side along with a little cute bell and the throttle with cruise control on the right side. The LED screen displays battery life (4 segments means full charge), speed, and distance traveled. I appreciate the bright white headlight and red taillight which activate together at the tap of a button. A bonus for safety is that the red brake light flashes when I am actually braking so it’s a nice signal for anyone else behind me. If the headlight and taillight is not activated, the brake light still flashes if you use the brake. The throttle doesn’t do anything until you get the scooter going so it just needs a few kicks to get started. Cruise control activates once you hold the throttle down for around 10 seconds then you will feel the scooter maintain the speed. To deactivate the cruise control, just tap the brakes or the throttle. My neighborhood is generally flat with no hills. The sidewalks are uneven in places and there are speedbumps but this model can handle those with only a small loss in speed. So far I haven’t purposely drained the battery. I get to about 10-12 miles or when there is only 1 of the 4 segments remaining and I recharge at that time.I use a helmet and I’m still a little tentative on the scooter but I’m definitely getting use to it. I plan to use the scooter daily when the weather cools down more and it gets more comfortable to be out and about. My kids think I am the cool mom now that I have this scooter.
