Gutermann 2-Pack - Natural Cotton Thread Solids 876 Yards Each - Cream

For many years I have loved making quilts, and when I first learned the skill our teacher encouraged us to use only Gutterman's thread. After using it for many quilts, I totally agree. The thread colors blend with any color fabric, is strong enough to last forever, yet not sharp against the fabric so it would cut into the quilt. I have driven several miles in order to buy Gutterman's thread rather than 'settle' for another brand.

Our quilt went our of business,Thankfully I can buy my favorite thread on line.

My sewing machine always runs better with this cotton thread. Please try to get more white cotton Gutterman thread.

The thread spools were a little soiled but what really surprised me us that they are calling this golden color “natural”. I assumed it would be an offwhite like the smaller spool in the photo (Gutermann thread from my stash.) I will keep it, but just wanted to warn others of this unnatural shade.

This thread works great for quilting.

Description clearly states 2 pk of thread with 876 yes each. Only 1 spool was delivered so it was promptly returned as this is way too much money for this thread.
