I'm currently preparing to downsize (both home and belongings), so this looked like the right set as maximizing storage and durability for moving are my primary concerns. I really wanted this set in all white (sold by another retailer), but, after searching high and low, it appears those have been sold out for quite some time (with no indication that I should expect they would be back in stock), so I decided "grey ombre" was the next best option without being an eyesore. As others have stated, the set is a decent size/weight, but not as hard/sturdy as your grandmother's melamine. Bottom line, I'd recommend this for young newlyweds or empty nesters who don't bake much and/or don't expect to be too rough on the pieces. I just wish retailers could understand that just because consumers are looking for lightweight plastic doesn't automatically mean we want it in rainbow preschool colors and would appreciate an option to keep things monochromatic.

In the photos it looked super nice, I thought the plastic would be a little thicker, or feel less cheap considering the price. I love the nesting feature, that's originally what sold me on this set. So far it has held up, but I can see there being a crack in one of the bowls with moderate use, and the strainers mesh doesn't seem to be secured too well, my guess is that'll probably be the first to come apart. For the price I hope I get a good amount of time with it.

These are so cute, but unfortunately not very durable or sturdy. They are pretty thin. The first day I used the large mixing bowl the handle broke. I contacted the company and they did respond, but have not offered any help. Won't be buying these again or recommending them.

This set of nesting bowls/measuring cups has one large mixing bowl, one small-to-medium mixing bowl, one fine mesh strainer, one colander, and four measuring cups -- 1 c, 1/2 c, 1/3 c, and 1/4 c. The nest neatly in the large mixing bowl. As a pandemic baker. i.e., I don't usually bake, these filled in a large gap in my kitchen. Plastic, not elegant, but get the job done. Because they are plastic, they are lightweight which is a plus if you have arthritic hands and fingers.

You get what you pay for...these are not very thick so the sturdiness and durability is questionable. But it works like it should. And the large bowl came in with the side handle broken.

I bought this to use in my RV. It’s a huge space saver since they stack inside each other! They were a bit smaller than I originally anticipated, but nothing wrong with that. I’ll probably just add a larger mixing bowl to my RV. The colors are exactly as pictured. Would recommend for anyone trying to save space!

I didn't pay close enough attention when I bought this. I had been looking for a nice mixing bowl set and was lured in by the sweet design of this. In the end, there are two strainers (one with plastic wire and a sturdier one which is a bowl with holes). Besides that, you get a really large mixing bowl and one rather small mixing bowl (unsure what you'd use this for besides maybe like mixing a small batch of pancake mix). Then your measuring cups. Those are odd as well. The smallest is 1/5th of a cup.....??? Then 1/3rd, 1/2 and 1 cup if I recall correctly.

Loving these beautiful nesting bowls and here is why,1. They save space — all of them neatly stack up, and that was #1 selling point for me. This is great if you live in an apartment or in the city, where you don’t usually have as much space.2. Cost efficient — I’ve considered buying mixing bowls, measuring cups, colander and a sieve separately, and it just didn’t make sense. Maybe if you buy them over a period of time, you wouldn’t notice, but if you do the math, It really adds up to be way more than this set.3. Great colours and sizes— love these colours over the rainbow coloured ones I’ve seen here, and the sizes are great. The biggest mixing bowl is so big, it could probably feed a large family over the holiday period. In our case, if I make a salad in it, it lasts us 2 or 3 days.It’s BPA free and overall great for those iso days, when I’m doing more cooking and baking than usual.If you found this review useful, please click the ‘Helpful’ button below.
