Was pleasantly surprised that this electric blower was much quieter than the gas powered ones. I really hate that shrill sound most blowers make, it wakes up the entire neighborhood. This one is quiet and yet powerful enough to do the job. I particularly like the variable adjustment for the turbo button. You have complete control of the air flow on this model, Also this unit is nicely balanced and almost effortless to operate. It is also fairly lightweight.

It has plenty of power. Speed is variable and the higher speed you run it at, the faster the battery drains. I find I can run it at about 3/4 speed and have plenty of power to blow leaves off my deck, porches, and driveways. Then, if there is something that needs more power, I can turn it up when I need to. There is also a boost button that will give even more power if you really need it, but I rarely have to use that. I have a huge yard, a half acre, with lots of pavement and a ton of trees, so I have a lot of area to blow leaves off of, and it will handle the whole job on one charge if I don't run it on full speed the whole time. I also have the Ego weedeater and they use the same battery so I have that as a spare if I need it. The weedeater can do the whole yard more than two times on one charge, so I have some spare battery power in that battery if I need it. Batteries charge up pretty fast too.

This is better than I had hoped.Nice weight and decent balance, and it does have power. The "turbo" button kicks things up noticeably more as well.I have a small property, and I can get things knocked out quickly, so I can't really comment on how long it lasts while in use, but it does charge very fast. The other thing I liked was how easy the battery attaches and disengages from both the blower and the charger.I got mine on sale for $136 at the time and well worth it when compared to my 20v blower.I would buy again, even at the original price.

I consider 5 stars to be perfect, and this product is not perfect.....just merely excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by the variations in speed that this unit has. You can run it at near hurricane force, or slow it down to gather a few errant leaves and bring them to the pile. I would have preferred 2 batteries, but one does most of my work as long as I remember to charge the battery after each use. Its weight is not light, but it can be handled with one hand for the most part. I am glad I bought it, and would recommend it to others.

I had a gas blower in the past. I didn't use it very often. It was so easy to start. It had extreme vibration that was uncomfortable after using for very long. It was very noisy. This new EGO blower is very handy. It can start and stop easily. It does not vibrate nearly as much. IT is not so annoyingly loud. I use it much more often. I find it great for blowing leaves and everything out of my garage that accumulate in there. IT cleans leaves and dirt off my patio to give a good clean path to my hot tub. I will never go back to the old gas blower again! I have added a weed-eater, edger, and last week, I added their mower.

The leaf blower has great force, but is a bit cumbersome to handle. I like the fact that the 56v battery is interchangeable with other Eco products. I have moved towards electric powered garden tools, as this is a renewable energy source, and that’s good for the environment.

Use this weekly for blowing grass off sidewalks and driveway as well as patio. Dont let the 480cfm fool you. It works better than the 2 cycle gas blowers that have more cfm. The torque is there and its light to use and you dont have as much fatigue in your arms and shoulders while you use it.

Unit has enough power if use in turbo mode, but then battery doesn't last. Maybe 10 minutes of usage is all I got without having to recharge battery.
