My husband uses these in his smoothies to help with allergies. I use them in my tea on occasion. They do not open correctly about half the time and will split down the entire side of the thing when you bite down. Cutting the end off isn't the end of the world, but I figured people would want to know.It's just the right amount of honey, including when you have a sore throat. Cutting the end off and just swallowing straight honey was suggested by a doctor and this honey does a great job with that.I'm not a fan of wildflower honey in general but my husband enjoys it and we've been buying this brand, though not in this form, for years. We switched to the straws when we had a massive ant infestation that passed up any sugar and went hard on the honey. Every jar was attacked and they'd die in the treads of the lid. Needless to say, it all got tossed. We haven't had any ant issues with this. I do keep the entire thing in a gallon freezer bag on my counter though. I'm taking no chances.
