Peace of mind
We bought the Duo for peace of mind. We brought our NICU baby home at 6 1/2 weeks. The first two nights without the Duo, we would wake up with a panic feeling. Once we received the Duo, anytime we wake up, burp we can check the app and immediately feel comfort. It is also relieving to know the alarm never went off. We recommend it for peace of mind!

Completely Awful! What a headache!
Guys I am so sad to share that this camera is absolutely awful! And frankly, I'm not sure which is worse - the abysmal customer service or the camera and app themselves.My husband and I were so excited for these products! We bought the Monitor and Sock combination. We installed the camera, mounted it on the wall, followed all instructions. It looked so nice and we were so excited. And then we were COMPLETELY let down. My phone would not receive any notifications from the camera for motion or sound. Meanwhile, my husbands phone was receiving the notifications intermittently and delayed. That was super concerning to think that our baby could be crying in his room and our phones would not notify us of that! What's the point of having a camera that doesn't notify you? So, we got on the customer service chat that is built into the app - we ended up chatting with 6 different people over the course of two days. Most of the advice was to follow the directions we had already followed, repeat steps, unplug the camera, reinstall the app, reset the camera, start all over again, restart our phones. We did this for hours and hours trying to find a solution. Having not found a solution we finally went to bed exhausted. We tried again the next day - and this is where my mind was completely blown and my faith in this company and its product was completely destroyed.The next day we signed onto the chat to try to start again at trying this. This time we chatted with the 6th customer service person - Brooke - Brooke told us that notifications are not yet available on the app and would not be available for another month. WHAT? The day before we chatted with 5 people and not one person claimed that notifications were not yet available. Also, the notifications ARE available in the app - there is a section to turn on and off notifications as well as to adjust sensitivity of the notifications. When I informed her of this and told her that notifications are in fact available because my husband was getting them intermittently and delayed, she tried to convince me that she simply misspoke. She then walked back her claim that notifications were not yet available and still could not provide a solution to the problem. Instead, she simply claimed that notifications are available for some people but not others - my husband and I have the same phone... But, like a fool, I decided to follow her instructions on what she thought would suddenly allow notifications to be received by my phone. I followed her instructions and now..... the camera will not connect to the internet at all. So, I came back onto Chat and let Brooke know that now my camera would no longer even connect to the internet. Her solution was to explain to me that my internet speed is too slow for this camera. After the camera having been connected to the internet without issue before suddenly my home internet was being blamed as the problem.My husband and I will be taking this off the wall this afternoon. Unfortunately, we were too excited and confident in the product so we completely installed it. We'll, no doubt, have to repaint the wall after we take down all of the cord and the cord protectors as well as the mounting unit. So that's one headache caused by this camera.The next headache is that we purchased this camera off of our baby registry using our completion discount (15% off). This product is quite expensive and you can only use you 15% on up to $2,000 of products. So this product took a huge chunk out of that $2,000. I've double checked with Amazon and they are positive that once I return this product, I will not have access to the 15% off again and the product's returned value will not be restored into my bank of $2,000.So basically, by making the mistake of buying this product, I just cost myself $52.50 that I will never get back. Frankly, that's the cost of a cheaper but, apparently, superior camera. Also, I've cost myself a day of painting a wall in my baby's room.This is by far the worst purchase experience I have had on Amazon and I am so disappointed in myself for falling for this product.

A waste of money
The set up is not intuitive. We spent hours on the phone setting up the camera and getting it to work on two phones.The picture quality is horrendous.I do not recommend paying the high price for this product. It is not worth it.The sock is decent. Be sure to have the base station near the sock. It loses signal often.

Wouldn't do without it
I bought this for my son and his wife for their first baby. They absolutely love it! They check it all the time.

NOPE NOPE NOPE!!
Not for us! The sock is so sensitive!! If your child moves his/her foot then the owlet will play a super loud lullaby. If your child dips bellow a certain bp or oxygen level then there is a hideous screech with a red light displayed. It will make you pull your hair out. Returned the next day!

I love this product. The camera quality is great and it really does give me a piece of mind.
