I have been using this chair for over a year and it's still comfortable and no squeaks.
The locked position still feels good and the rocking is still quiet and comfortable after 1 year. I would give build quality a 9 out of 10 for the price.

FOR THOSE WHO ARE TRYING TO ASSEMBLE / HAVE ASSEMBLED AND ARE HAVING TROUBLE - READ THIS
I received this chair today and wanted to leave a review for all of you either reading the other reviews about this chair or who already have this chair and are having issues with the tilt function.FIRSTLY, in order to use the tilt function, you have to pull the lever OUT. Pushing it IN, locks the tilt function, while pulling it out enables tilt. Note - Up/Down is by twisting the lever.ALSO, you have to twist the knob on the bottom of the chair plate in order to allow the degree and ease of tilt. Do this before you try and tilt since this knob either 'loosens' or makes 'tight' the amount of force you need to push the chair back. I twisted it fully anti-clockwise (loose) about 10 turns. None of this is mentioned in the instructions.SECONDLY, note that the 2nd step in the instructions is WRONG. This is what is causing the problem for everyone here who either cannot get it to tilt properly OR who are having the seat cushion seem to be leaning forward so you feel like you are sliding out of the chair (as one reviewer mentioned). The diagram does not make clear which orientation the tilt lever should be in relation to the seat cushion when you assemble it. The pictures shows that you put the base plate on the bottom of the seat cushion with the lever on the right side with the cushion front at the top. This means that when you sit on the chair the lever is on the left side/hand and the knob is on the backside of the plate. If you do this (as I did), the seat will never tilt back and it will instead tilt FORWARD.Why? Because its the wrong way around. When I first assembled using the instructions, I tried and tried to get the seat to lean back - even after loosening the knob and pulling the lever out. . It wouldn't and instead I kept almost sliding out of the chair as the cushion seemed to be leaning forward. WHat a terrible design I thought and I leaned forward to get out of the chair. Suddenly the chair leaned forward with me.So I unscrewed the 4 screws holding the base plate to the cushion and turned the plate around so the lever is now on the right-hand side when I sit on the chair and the knob is towards the front of the plate. Now I'm a happy chappie. The lumbar support is great and the seat cushioning is adequate. The design is stunning and for the price this chair can't be beaten. The manufacturer just needs to make clear which direction the bottom plate should be put on and how to use the tilt function.

Working well for taller folks
When we went to work/school from home in March 2020, and once I concluded it wasn't going to be short term, I "stole" my son's gaming chair for my office chair. For Christmas 2020, I gave my son his gaming chair back (to be fair, I only used it during the day when he was at school, so he still had it for gaming), bought this new chair, and took the 19 year old office chair my wife had been using as my chair. You see the pecking order.I considered many chairs and read tons of reviews. I wanted something I could use if necessary. I'm about 6'3" 220 pounds with a mostly athletic build, so both width and sturdiness are important to me. I wound up picking this chair as the most reasonably priced option I thought looked good and that I believed would accommodate my size. After a couple weeks of use, I have no reason to regret that decision. The chair went together very easily -- I did it in about 15 minutes while sitting on the couch and watching TV. The only tool required was provided, and the kit includes a couple replacement parts. Instructions were, IMO, very easy to follow.I tried the chair out post-assembly. I thought it was comfortable. It adjusted well (and works just like my real office chair, making it intuitive for me). I thought the material seemed very nice; another review says it's not leather, and since I'm no expert, I'm willing to take that person at that word, but the material still seems very nice to me. The plastic is hard but without sharp edges of any sort. The chair is a little narrow, but like I said, as a rather large guy, it fit me well. I found the thigh space adequate. If I had a very large gut, I could image the chair being a bit too narrow. My wife (who's 5'11" herself) has been using the chair daily and reports that it is comfortable. It doesn't make any squeaks during use or while being adjusted, although that's after only two weeks. On the whole, I consider this a good purchase. If I had it to do over again, I'd buy this chair again. And if I decide I need to replace the 19 year old chair I'm using right now, I would probably buy this chair for myself.

Exactly as described
This chair is the best value for money available right now I believe. I work from home in a condo and like to game COD at night from my workstation / desk. I sit for probably 10+ hours a day between work and gaming. I bought this one in place of a gaming chair as it has solid lumbar support and is very comfortable. I also think the gaming chair market is just successful advertising and not actual quality, comfortable chairs. The seat is not the most padded, but for the value I think this chair fits my needs perfectly.I'm 5'9" and my head rests squarely in the head rest. I am slight at 140 lbs and thus, this is very comfortable for me. If you are much taller or much heavier, I can see this being somewhat less comfortable.

Not enough area for bottom. No leaning either. False advertisement
Annoying to assemble. Leather quality is fine but no lumber and no incline. Full upright sitting with little area at the bottom. Half of my thigh seems outside of sitting area.

Buena calidad, comoda, no es de piel, no apta si mides más de 1.66
Es muy cómoda y de muy buena calidad, sin embargó no es de piel. Y si mides más de 1.66 te quedará algo chica.
