Great Motorcycle Tours of Europe

This is a great coffee table book with excellent photography, and good for giving you ideas. However the way it's written, anecdotally rather than being quite specific exactly what roads to take and where to take them, it's actually very difficult to use it to plan a route from. You can do it, but it takes a lot a careful studying of maps to figure it out.

beautiful large pictures in two bound volumes

It must be fate! I must have clicked something but I didn't intend to buy this book. Once I started looking at it, I was hooked. I sold my last bike a few months back but over many years of touring, my wife and I had ridden in most of these places. It is very well written and informative and brought back many memories but equally, if I was just starting touring, this book would be superb. I would however, buy the actual book as the e book was a bit annoying to look at on my samsung - it certainly didn't do justice to the great photos.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my father in law who loves to ride his bike across Europe and he loved it. The book itself is high quality and makes a great gift

Great book with fantastic pictures!It was s Xmas present for my husband and everyone was reading it!!

My wife bought this for her boss as a Christmas present. He loves it and she got a raise - it might work for you too! We have no idea about the book because we never opened it but it was nice and heavy and had a great picture on the front :)
