I love this stuff
I love this stuff! It's medium coverage and light weight, doesn't feel heavy at all. It's buildable coverage too, works great with a sponge. This is my go-to foundation if I'm not really red or have a breakout- then I go for the next step up.

Major problem with this product
the makeup should have a thicker consistency. It is pouring out water instead of the thick type of foundation. It's basically unusable. I feel like I wasted my money. I must have gotten a bad tube.

Covers up and feels good.
Very happy with the consistency and coverage of this make up. I have a hard time matching my skin color, olive complexion, and this fits the bill. It also provides very. I've coverage without feeling heavy.

ANIMAL TESTING NOW! ANOTHER CUSTOMER LOST BECAUSE OF CRUELTY!
I have used Estee Lauder off and on for years....until I learned they now started testing on aminals! They didn't for years but now they've begun again. I will never use an Estee Lauder (or Revlon) product again! There are enough companies that are cruelty-free, I refuse to help them blind puppies, kittens, and bunnies for vanity.

Makes my skin look awful :-(
I really wanted to love this, but it just looks awful on me. I am in love with the regular double wear, so I don't really understand why this looks so awful on me. I purchased this from Macy's, so I know the product is authentic. The coverage is light to medium, which should be enough for me because I don't have trouble skin, just a little redness to even out. This seems to dry me out more than the regular DW because my skin looks dry, cakey, and almost like it has a gray tinge to it. It doesn't look that bad in photographs, only when I look in the mirror.I can think of two reasons that this might not look so great on me. 1 is that it could just be the wrong shade for me. I have ELDW in 3W1(Tawny) and it looks fantastic, but it might be a pinch dark for winter. When I was searching for a lighter winter shade, I tried 2W2 (Rattan) and it made my skin look awful in a similar way. The other reason may be because I applied this with my fingertips rather than a sponge or a brush. I always use a sponge for my regular DW, so maybe the light version would look better if I applied it with a sponge. I will try it again that way update with the results, but I'm not holding out much hope. All in all, I do think this is worth trying. I love ELDW but I would prefer to reserve that for special occasions because it is full coverage and that tends to flatten my features so I have to use blush/bronzer/contouring to make it look really good. For someone without trouble skin, that is a lot of work to go through every morning! I was hoping the ELDW Light would be a more natural/satin finish with great coverage, but it's just a little too similar to the regular DW and not nearly as flattering on my skin. This stuff has great reviews though, and given that it works for so many, I do think it is worth trying. Next I'm trying Mac Pro Longwear to see if I have better luck with that for everyday. I hear it has a natural finish and slightly less coverage, but is still long-wearing. I tried studio sculpt and hated it, so for now ELDW is still my number 1 foundation.
