Since this was for my second digital camera, I learned the hard way the importance of having a case. When I received it, it was everything i thought it would be. It fit snuggly around all the components allowing for easy access to the multi-angle screen while protecting the entire camera.

This case is a very nice make at excellent price, however, it is advertized to be used for G11,12 and 15 models but G11 and G12 are much thicker than G15, so the G15 is quite loose inside the case. I could say, it should be made a bit slimmer to take advantage of the slimmer design of G15. One should perhaps wait for the case made specifically for G15. I wonder if G9,10 would fit better.

I purchased a Canon Powershot G15 for a travel camera and needed a simple camera case for use when carrying just the camera. My concern was protecting the large LCD monitor and keeping it dry since the camera is a little large for most pockets and needs to carried by the neck strap. This hard case filled the bill and looks very good at the same time. The cover snaps off the base for access to everything except the battery and memory card. The base unscrews from the tripod socket to access those items. The case does everything I wanted.
