I love this trivet!! I purchased this cute teapot trivet as part of a Christmas present for my mother, and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality! She is absolutely going to LOVE this! I'm going to buy one for myself now too!This cast iron trivet is a good weight and has an antique feel to it. If it weren't for the rubber feet (don't get me wrong, the rubber feet are a complete asset) you wouldn't know that this is a brand new trivet.It sits flat and feels extremely solid and sturdy. The rubber feet seems to be pretty secure. I didn't want to mess with them too much but based on other reviews I wanted to make sure they weren't loose and none of them were. It's bigger that I imagined but still small enough that it doesn't take up too much room. I think this would handle small to medium sized pots, pans, bakeware (8x8) with ease.This is definitely the type of trivet you don't want to hide away in a drawer, it really is SO adorable. You'd have to hang it with either a hook or a long nail in order to accommodate the space between the front of the trivet and the bottom of the rubber feet.Keep in mind that if you are going to be sending it as a gift, it does come with a Made In China sticker on the back (which came off the cast iron with ease and without leaving sticky residue). I decided to have it shipped to me first in order to box it up with some other things that are going to be going with this trivet, and I'm glad I did because it gave me the opportunity to remove that sticker.All in all, I highly recommend this trivet. It's really a steal for the price in looks and quality and is just the cutest thing ever. If you love teapots and a more rustic antique charm in your kitchen, don't pass this up!

I needed something kitchen inspired to put where I once had a clock. These trivets were perfect. They're heavy duty and good quality. If you use them for their original purpose they will be fine. I just love them on the wall.

I am in love with this. Its really pretty but its also really practical. I liked this one because it is a shiny "new" looking cast iron as opposed to the recycled rusty brown looking cast iron. This is the perfect gift for any tea lover because you cannot find something like in the stores. It has rubber feet on the bottom and sits up just enough off of the counter. You could also hang this on the wall for decoration and it would be the perfect rustic touch. I plan on buying more for Christmas gifts. I got this for a discount in exchange for an honest opinion.

I bought this for use when I make hot tea (which is pretty frequent). I appreciate that I can set a kettle on it and not worry about ruining my countertop; and because of it's cute design I can prop it up against my tiled backsplash and it doesn't ruin the aesthetic of the backsplash. It's durable and holds up well. I've had it for a while, just forgot to write up a review until now.

This trivet is soo darn cute. There are several tea drinkers in my family so I purchased a couple for them and they are so cute I have decided to order one for me!

Just what I wanted. This item arrived quickly and well wrapped, which is good because it is a sturdy, heavy piece. This will hold more than a teapot--quite strong. Some cast iron is flimsily saudered, not this. It is a lovely piece that, when not in use, deserves a nail on the wall so that it can be displayed. Thanks.
