Cutter & BuckMen's Weather Resistant Primaloft Down Alternative Rainer Vest

This was a last minute purchase as I was heading to London. I wanted to travel light, therefore instead of a winter jacket I purchased the down vest. I found it was true to size therefore returned a large and received a medium. The vest kept me warm in 40 degree temperatures as I wore it over a wool sweater. When caught in the rain 🌧 the vest still kept me warm and dried quickly. It is a favorite purchase I made on Amazon and highly recommend.

I bought this Vest as well as similar ones from Smartwool, Marmut, Scott Insuloft, Golite and arcteryx - all in the $80 - $170 price range as I had decided to buy a vest and wanted to give them all a try. Between a combination of lightness, warmth, fit (I am 6'1, 205lbs) and comfort, this C&B vest was hands down the winner. This is the first clothing from C&B I have ever owned as the other brands (SmWool, Marmut and Arcteryx I know and have in my wardrobe) I expected to prefer, but ordered the C&B on a flyer as I liked the blue (ended up keeping the black though). The jacket is extremely light and not. at all a "puffy" jacket. It fits thin and is very warm and well insulating. Pockets are in the right places (including a hidden pocket that it folds into for packing). Just all in all a very high quality jacket and for me - the best I have tried. I fully recommend.

It's a great fitting vest, nice zippers but it just wasn't for me, disappointed with the price.

Worth every penny. Loved it so much I bought a 2nd color.
