This is a great product. Contains a very healthy diet for your bird. I no longer have to buy the extra items contained in this food like the pumpkin seeds, banana chips, and hot peppers. The item arrived very fast and was wrapped so the food was protected. The price was also very good compared to my regular company I order from. It can also be feed to a wide range of birds from parakeets, cockateils, to large parrots. No more buying different foods for each bird.

I am so happy i found this bird seed here on amazon! I have been buying it at the pet store and it costs more. My bird loves this seed mix. It has no sunflowers or peanuts which is what i needed to cut from my birds diet because hes over weight. No dust and no bugs! I will be ordering again. Thank you!

Volkman seems like a "good" seed brand. I say "good", and rate the product 4/5, because seed shouldn't be the main diet for a parrot--ever. Seed is definitely okay as a treat, but a parrot's main diet should be fruits and vegetables supplemented by pellets.Also, two of my parrots who ended up passing away from proventricular dilatation disease were stuck on this diet before I could convert them to a pellet-, fruit- and veggie-based diet had a very hard time digesting this as they got sicker. So again, use as treats, not as meals!

My birds eat this as part of their diet. They like it. It's always been clean in the 20 years I've been buying it. The price is really creeping up though and may have to find other feeding solutions.

This stuff is great, full of variety and recommended by my vet.

This is absolutely unacceptable!!!! I have been using this bird food for the last 4 years and ordering from Amazon. It used to be around $45 dollars for a bag and now it is $59.99. Take a look at the last two shipments I received.. both boxes all damaged from hell and open too. (There is no option to add the photos.. of course honest peoples opinions dont matter) THIS IS A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!I wouldnt mind paying that full price of $59.99 if the quality was worth it. There are NO shelled peanuts, very little to NO bananas. And there is almost no papaya in the mix either. I have ordered from different sellers and every time the food comes in a different package. I mean what the hell has this come to? I am not impressed and i would NEVER recommend this food to anyone ever again. There is too much filler Volkman, where the hell is all of the actual seed and nutrients for our birds?? This should be discontinued and removed from Amazon!!!!

My African Greys love this food! It’s so nutritious and there is variety of different healthy foods. Now we have healthy happier birds and less wasteSeller is awesome and fast shipping.

Arrived quick . Not much dust which is good . I mix it with other foods for my parrots - African Greys and Amazon Green , they like to go through it .Would buy again .
