This screen protector made my day better
I promise you, this should be an interesting read.I haven't used a case in the year that I've had my phone (5C), and am very careful about holding onto it. A few weeks ago, however, I dropped it. Landed on the corner, slid a yard downhill on the sidewalk. I quickly ran to pick it up, turned it over with dread... and found that the screen had shattered, and I had to pay $140 to replace it.I learned my lesson, and spent a while scrolling through different cases, looking for one that wouldn't be bulky or get dirty, and would still allow me to slip the phone easily in and out of my pocket. Narrowed down my choices to the last couple, and decided on this screen protector, which I hadn't known was "a thing" before I saw it on Amazon. The first day I used it, I dropped my phone, and I think it saved my screen. Here's the story.I ordered the product, and received it in the mail some days later. I don't remember how many, because I was very depressed. I had stopped giving a duck about anything, and just left it in the padded envelope sitting on my desk as I did whatever it was while contemplating suicide. On Friday, I decided I was going to do something rash. Finally felt a rush of motivation, and in between organizing my desk, papers, room, etc, I opened and engaged this screen protector. Not quite sure why. I guess because I was planning on clambering around on some tall roofs, and wasn't exactly thinking rationally. The application was very easy: cleaned with the microfiber, wiped with the towelette. That wipe was amazing. I also used it to clean my computer screen, then gave it to my roommate to clean her devices, since I was not willing to waste that amazingness. Used the stickers to get off any specks of dust, then carefully centered and dropped on the screen. I was a little to worried about getting it straight, so I didn't notice that air had been trapped in the middle. No problem, lifted half and this time sealed it correctly. It lined up perfectly, I'm assuming because of the nature of the product rather than my screen-protector-applying skills. rushed it off and I was ready to go. Clambered around those roofs, may have hurt myself a little, went near the edge, but wasn't ready to do anything that final. I made my way home. Walking back, I decided to go to the hospital. I didn't trust myself anymore, and was scared of what I might do on impulse. I talked to a friend, went over, and she walked with me to the ER, where I was taken in and put on a psychiatric hold. Not as weird as you might think. They confiscated most of my belongings, but I was able to keep my phone until I finally was escorted to the psych ward. Lots of things happened. Doctors and nurses coming and going, waiting, having my injury cleaned, stitched, and bandaged, waiting some more, talking to a social worked, talking to a resident, talking to a psychiatrist, sitting awkwardly in sight of the security guards. Of course, during that time, I completely forgot about my newly reinforced screen, seeing the phone merely as my soon-to-be-"contraband" link to the outside world. Time came to go into the psych unit. They stored my phone stored in a locked cubby after I sent out a last few reassuring texts to my acquaintances, and I began my stay. Like I said, not as weird as people might expect. Most people there were... normal. A senior citizen who occasionally heard voices, but spent most of her time telling us about her family, walking around the deck and recruiting us to play catch with her when we could go outside, teaching us poker. Some quiet adults who would watch quietly, then wander off. An annoying as dell older man who acted a bit like a ten-year-old and loved a couple Disney movies. Several young people like me who were there because they were depressed, had severe anxiety, manic episodes, or hallucinations, or had attempted suicide. It was a good safe place to think more calmly and hopefully about the future.Obviously, the experience wasn't interesting enough, and they figured out that for insurance reasons, they had to transfer me to another hospital's facility. Got to used my phone for the hour and a half we were stuck in traffic during the transfer, then lost it again at the new place. Much of the same there. Young people to talk to. Nurses to convince that I would be safe on my own when I got out. Groups to attend. This time more immature adults getting into arguments, a few people who talked to themselves constantly, a few who were catatonic (except once when that guy spit some sick rhymes, and we all stopped to listen in amazement). Even more waiting to get out and boredom. You realize how much you take for granted when you lose a lot of freedom (and your phone). Four days after entering the hospital, I was discharged, and a couple friends picked me up to go home. Of course I spent half of the ride gleefully sifting through texts, emails, and notifications from the past few days, now that I had my phone back. We decided to stop for lunch on the way back. In the car in the parking lot I change into long sleeves to cover the scars on my arms, and run out of the car to join my friends, who had gone ahead. Halfway across the parking lot, I realize my pants are sagging even more than they had in the psych unit, from the weight of my phone and wallet in my back pockets. See, in the psych ward they confiscate your belt (along with your shoelaces and the drawstring from your hoodie) so no one will hang themselves with it. The place is pretty much suicide-proof. It's quite fascinating (and a source of amusement to the extremely bored patients), the little things they change to make it almost impossible to hurt yourself. So my pants were sagging intolerably, and I turned to skip back to the car and grab my belt. Two steps, and I hear a clatter and my friend's laughter. DUCK. I hadn't considered the slackness of my pockets. Generally my phone and wallet are held snugly against my butt, but now my sweet, sweet, newly reunited phone is once again face down on the ground. "Did you just crack it -again-?" my friend teases meanly. -Please, no- I plead silently as I gently pick it up and flip it over. Three corners are chipped and a couple tiny cracks have grown inward. I'm sure those will spread across the screen. I generally take care of my belongings and keep them in good condition so I can use them for as long as possible. I'm resigned to use the phone until the screen breaks completely, and I know that even if it lasts, I'll be cursing my idiocy for the next year.Ten minutes later, waiting for seats outside the place we chose to get lunch, with my friends teasing me as I inspect my phone for the fifteenth time, I remember that my phone had this screen protector on, and it is fine.-----TL;DR: Cracked a screen, learned my lesson, bought this Tech Armor Ballistic Glass Screen Protector, went to the psych ward, forgot about the screen protector. Dropped my phone and cracked the screen the first day I used it, cursed myself for my stupidity for ten minutes before remembering about the Tech Armor and realizing my phone was fine. Totally made my day better, and I'd recommend this to anyone who is too stubborn to buy a bulky, sticky case.

Very great tempered glass protector for the Apple iPhone 5
This is for the product, Tech Armor Apple iPhone 5/5c/5s/SE Premium Ballistic Glass Screen Protector Protect Your Screen from Scratches and Drops. Very great tempered glass protector for the Apple iPhone 5.I have provided below a simple step by step list of instructions on how to apply the screen protector easily without any problems or mistakes.1. Make sure you clean your hands with soap and water for at least 15 - 20 seconds so that it is free of grimes, oil, and dirt before you touch any of the items.2. Using the provided spray that came with the box, wet the phone screen with the solution and clean with the provided Lint-Free cloth. Make sure to work in a brightly lit up area so you can check if there are leftover dust particles on the screen.3. Wet your fingertips with the solution from the spray bottle. The film will tend to be flimsy and sticky when wet, so it’s important so your fingers do not stick to the screen protector and leave fingerprint marks or worsts, skin flakes or other residue that will stuck on there forever.4. Make sure your fingers are still wet and remove the screen protector from the plastic backing.5. Spray solution on the adhesive side of the screen protector and make sure entire screen has water droplets on it. Doing this will make it easier for you to position and glide the film across the device until the desired result is achieved. Any dry areas and you will have issues. This is especially important if you are one that aims for perfection on applying it on the screen.7. Position the film across the device until all the specific cutouts align with the features on the phone such as home button, speaker, camera, etc.8. Spray more solution on the screen protector while on the phone.9. Hold the phone with the screen protector in your hand and use your thumb to place a decent amount of pressure as this will force the fluid away from areas and allow the screen protector to adhere to the phone. You will see excess solution dripping from the phone,10. Use a credit card or preferably a rubber squeegee wrapped in a soft cloth to work the fluid out from the phone from by your thumb. Continually check to make sure it is still lined up for cutouts. After a pass or two, check to see if the protector moves, if it doesn't then you can remove your thumb and really work out the solution from under the protector.11. Work on the main part of the screen and gently push the excess liquid towards the edges. Thereafter, work on the sides.12. Start using your fingers as a squeegee to start it to adhere to the phone. Massage it several times until all the excess fluid moved out.13. If you have issues with it adhering with your fingers, it is due to the spray solution not coming off the beveled edge of the phone. You will need to use the lint free cloth that was included to help absorb some of the solution.14 If you have a hair dryer or fan at home, you can use it to speed up the drying process. Set it at low setting and warm/dry the film. This will also make the film tackier so it will adhere securely unto the edges.15. Once it really started to dry, you can start smoothing the film with the rubber squeegee or a credit card wrapped in soft cloth, and do this in one direction uniformly. Hold the film down with your fingers for a couple minutes or so until it dries up. Once it does, the film will regain its adhesive features.16. Let it dry. It will take 3 - 4 days or so for the solution under the protector to fully dissipate. Adding a case is not advisable at this point. It will only cause it to pop off where the case and protector meet.17. After the 3 - 4 days, if you wish to add a case that will overlap the screen protector, make sure to lift the lip of the case over the screen protector and not allow the case to push the protector which will lead to lifting of the screen protector. This will ensure that the screen protector will have a stabilized base due to the case keep it down on the edges.Disclaimer: I received this product at a free or discounted price in exchange of an honest and unbiased review. Tempered Glass Screen Protectors: a fantastic solution.
Packaged very well, obviously high quality, and all for a great price. If you've never used a tempered glass screen protector before, they are magnificent. It gives your phone screen a refined, deep, glossy look, it's super easy to clean, and vastly improves the feeling of sliding your fingers around on the screen. It's also remarkably easy to apply, because you don't have to worry about bubbling or anything of the sort. I stuck mine on crooked for the first time and I was freaking out but I was able to re apply it with no fuss. I couldn't say the same for my last film screen protector. An absolutely wonderful product, and I am grateful for it's existence.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Initially I was extremely happy with this product. It felt high quality and the install process was a breeze, I nailed it first time after carefully following all of the instructions. However, after 4 days of use, the two top corners of my brand new iPhone 5s Tech Armor ballistic class screen protector had large bubbles underneath. No matter what I have tried, I cannot press it back down to stick back to the screen. Then a couple of days after this, I noticed that there is now a chip on the edge of the screen protector to the left hand side of the screen.I must stress that I have been extremely careful with my phone, it has had a leather proporta flip case fitted to it 100% of the time which adds extra protection to the screen and screen protector, and I have not dropped the phone once. For this reason I feel that the £10 I spent on this screen protector has been a complete waste of money and I would not advise anybody to part with their cash to purchase one either.I hope this has been helpful to people considering purchasing this product.

Great product - great customer service!
Very clear screen. Beautiful looking and doesn't seem to dull the retina display down. I don't know if I just have dirtier hands than everyone else but I seem to always have a greasy looking screen no matter which protector I use. This one is the stiff screen protector so it isn't flopping all over the place when you are trying to install it. Easily installed. However, the last corner down wouldn't stick for me no matter what I tried. Doesn't seem to be dirt or anything underneath. I'm wondering if the corner of my phone is a little depressed down at that edge. In any case, I sent an email to the customer service department (found on the website) immediately and they got back to me within a day or so. They promised to send me out a new one right away and warned me that since it was coming from Los Angeles, it could take up to 10 or 12 business days. I haven't received it yet but it's only 6 days. I was impressed with the fact that they tell you right in the email that they send out after your purchase that if you are happy, they would love a review on Amazon and if you are unhappy, to please contact them so they can make you happy. Don't right a bad review if you had problems with application! Just contact them - they are great! Good price for a good product. I'm happy.
