Tried them all
I own this 4 panel ITA-MED, also own the Men's breathable Ita-Med both in 12" and a breathable in 9". I had emergency disected desending aorta surgery 1n 2010. It left me with an abdominal hernia that is severe. Runs from my breastplate to below my billy button, plus a left side "love handle hernia". My abdominal muscles are severed..... as in I have none. First, these binders might roll or bunch dependent on your height. MY 4 PANEL DOES NOT ROLL OR BUNCH. I am 6' and the 12" 4 panel does fine, in fact not sure it could roll. Measure the size of the area you wish to cover.I also own the 12" brethable Ita-Med and wear it when I am going to be more active, such as bowling, or working in the yard. Yes, if you bend and stoop all day the "breathable model" might bunch a few times. I use the 4 panel 12" Ita-Med when sitting for longer periods (long drives, out to dinner and movie) as it is less flexible but gives more support but is also much hotter than the breathable model to wear. I sometimes wear the 9" breathable in the evening when just around the house. My life style is much inproved by these products. If you wear them 90% of the time you will want a back up as when washed they take a long time to dry. Oh....I also returned a "Brand X model",,,, you get what you pay for.LD

Good quality - Too Stiff for my needs
I got this after having surgery that required several weeks of abdominal pressure/wrapping. The one they sent me home with from the hospital was uncomfortable due to it being too short. I wanted something that went from my hips to under my chest. This was the perfect height and width for me, but it was very stiff compared to the more elastic-type wrap that I had become accustomed to in my first week post-op. It wasn't contouring to my body the way that I needed to be comfortable and feel my abdomen was properly supported. I ended up returning it, but that stiffness could be a selling point for others... it seemed like it would take a bit of time to break this in and have it hug my body, and that was time that I did not have. Maybe if I would have purchased and worn it ahead of my surgery.

Heavy duty
Too hot for summer. Good support often requires heavy materials. This binder is well built. Heavy fabric taping on the seams. Heavy foam front. Thick, strong elastic. My waist is 30" and my hips are 40" A size Small in the shorter length will fit me better. This one was much too tall and wide for me.

Love it!
Works well. I like this one much better than the med pro brand I was sent home with after surgery. This one offers way more support

Minimal support but comfortable enough to wear all day
This is the 2nd purchase. The 1st lasted over a year and I hope this second one does, as well. While any similar support is going to retain great by acting add a blanket around you, it could be worse.
