GDFBViking Shirt, Burgundy, Medium

Completely amazing! Very durable and tough cotton. A lot more comfortable and closer to a real historical recreation than those cheap nylon shirts. Border pattern is appropriate for the periods culture. May seem bigger than what you thought it would be but that's how medieval tunics were designed, slightly bigger than how a modern shirt would fit. :)

So this is a great tunic for the price. It is made of sturdy fabric, and overall looks very nice. The only negative with the actual tunic is the trim. The trim is not sewn overlapping itself in places, and the corners are not folded and sewn neatly. But when you look at the tunic it looks very nice. The trim's imperfection is only noticeable up close. The burgundy color is quite appealing. Like I said about the fabric being sturdy, it's also slightly ruff. Probably a heavy-duty cotton. A few washes with fabric softener should break it in nicely. For sizing, I'm 5'7" and about 170lb my chest measurement is about 42-44 and the 46" Medium fits fantastically. It doesn't look too big for me, and I have full range of movement. The reason I didn't give this product five stars is due to issues with shipping. I ordered this on Aug 1st, and got it today - Aug 30th. I had bought it hoping it would get here by the 27th for an event, original expected delivery was the 18 - 24th. Amazon updated my shipping information on the 16th saying it would arrive by 8pm on the 18th. Well It never came. I contacted Amazon and was told there was an issue with getting the item or something. They did right by me with their customer service, but when the person I spoke to looked up my order they changed the expected delivery to late September to mid October. Luckily it came much earlier, it really is a nice tunic. If your going to buy this tunic then plan for the possibility of long shipping time.

Massively oversized for a medium.

Not bad, I should have ordered a large. I saw a review that said a medium fit 46 inch chest and decided to get a medium. The medium fits like a medium so I gave it to my son. I'm a little bigger and a large is normally my size.
