Skip this book, it adds nothing to the subject.
This book was terrible. The writer just shared opinions and it seemed like she garnered all her information from the internet. I don’t know what qualifications she had to write this book, but it couldn’t have been many. She talked about not being able to crate train (because she lacked the discipline) regularly talked about her dogs having behavioral issues, that she didn’t know how to deal with, etc. there are way better labradoodle books out there, and “the other end of the leash” is an awesome behavioral book. This was essentially trash that seemed like a collection of dog articles written by someone who knows a dog, not someone who is qualified to write a book about a breed.

Get this before you adopt!
I spent hours online gathering different information from various sources on Labradoodles before adopting, and then we adopted, and then I bought this book. I read the first few chapters about the breed and the best approaches to adopting - I had found similar info online but this book confirmed, in one easy reference, much of what it took me hours to sort through online. So, I found the information reliable and accessible. Get this if you are even thinking about adopting a Labradoodle!

very comprehensive and well done
refer to this book all the time. labradoodles have many different mannerisms than most dogs and many quirks and things that new labradoodle owners could really use help understanding.I highly recommend this book to any new or potential owners it covers a-z

Pretty Thorough
This book was recommended by our breeder. We are new Labradoodle parents and wanted an overview of the breed. Its pretty thorough covers a lot of topics. I don't agree with every recommendation from the author but I do think this is a worthwhile read for new Puppy Parents as well as general labradoodle owners.

Nothing valuable
Most of the information can be found on the internet. Lots of opinions and the book was geared towards “Australian Labradoodles” which has little to no Labrador genes by the time the breed is past a few generations. I would like to have a book that goes deeper into the “Labrador” size of the Doodle.

Very informative book on all sizes and breeds of Labradoodles. The book even discusses vitamin supplements for hair texture and coat.

Great read!
So happy I got this book. Will have our labradoodle puppy at the end of March and this book is so good! I now know what to expect and can’t wait for our pup to live with us.

Good book for a new Labradoodle owner
This book starts from before you get a labradoodle to training and beyond. It is a good starter book for the newly dog owner of a labradoodle. A lot of training basics, great recommendations and common sense but still a good read.

cheap and nasty print out
Very disappointing. As a previous reviewer mentioned this is an awful black and white printout that looks terrible. This doesn't look like its the original publication but a very very cheap print out on cheap paper.I did also buy the online ebook version of this same book for my tablet for only a fraction of the price and that has beautiful colour hi-res photography of these lovely dogs and really high glossy look and such a pleasure to read. So you can imagine my huge disappointment when received this in the post with this paperback version as it is cheap and nasty in comparison. On a high point it is well written and easy to read with good content and a handy book for reference it doesn't let you down there - Certainly not worth £12.00 though its a con

Could be better but overall is ok....
The pictures are not good; some are blurry and all black & white. Some good information and is easy to read - no huge paragraphs that get dull and boring. It is one of those that you can flick through and read when you have some spare time.Nothing special in the way of training or understanding your labradoodle; there's better books out there if you want advice on training.
