This handheld, rechargeable pool cleaner has exceeded all my expectations, combining powerful suction with exceptional convenience to tackle everything from sand and silt to leaves in both inground and above-ground pools. One of the standout features of this vacuum is its XL debris capacity. The large chamber means I can clean for longer periods without needing to stop and empty it out, saving me a significant amount of time and effort. Additionally, the advanced filtration system is nothing short of impressive, capturing even the finest particles, leaving my pool water crystal clear and inviting. The cordless design of the POOL BLASTER Centennial is a game-changer. Freed from the constraints of cords and hoses, I can maneuver around the pool with ease, reaching every nook and cranny without any hassle. The included pole set is a fantastic addition, providing extra reach and making the vacuum versatile for different pool sizes and depths. The vacuum's rechargeable feature is another huge plus. It's incredibly convenient to not have to worry about replacing batteries or finding a power source nearby. The vacuum holds a charge well, providing ample cleaning time to cover my entire pool on a single charge. Overall, the POOL BLASTER Centennial Cordless Pool Vacuum with Pole Set is a stellar product that has made pool cleaning less of a chore and more of a breeze. A product that actually works as good or better than advertised!
The POOL BLASTER Centennial model is excellent as a substitute for the traditional or more modern robotic pool vacuums. It is powerful enough to suck up sand and small gravel grains from the bottom of our pool-from both the 6 foot deep end as well as from the sitting area. A major wind storm that struck Las Vegas a few days ago blew up to an inch (in some areas) of fine and course sand and even some larger gravel pieces into our 16,000 gal inground pool. The pool was a disaster, to say the least . I decided to use the POOL BLASTER Water Tech Catfish Rechargeable, Battery-Powered, Swimming Pool Cleaner that we already own on this mess but it could not even begin to do the trick. So I ordered this centennial model and am very glad I did. I filled the debris cannister to the top 8 times and recharged the vacuum 6 times to completely clear all of the sand and gravel debris from the bottom of our pool! The vacuum battery when fully charged worked for approximately 40 minutes each time. Cleaning between use and charging the device was a breeze and took no more than 5 minutes each time. In this day of mediocrity (at best) in product performance, this vacuum stands out because it works exceptionally well and I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone who has a high maintenance inground pool.

A Must Have if you have a Pool
This is a must have if you have a pool. I used to have to vacuum to waste to get the dirt out of my pool, came across this little vacuum and WOW, it does what it says it does. It vacuums up the dirt, sand, small Debrie like know bodies business. I wish I would of known about this little vac years ago, saves you alot of money in water bills, no reason to vacuum to waste anymore. It has about a 45 min charge usage, wish it was longer, but I can live with it. The price is right for this little vacuum, easy to use, easy to install, I also like that it can attach to your broom pole. Can't say enough about this little vacuum for $150. I bought a 5 pack of the filters, but you really don't need them for awhile, easy to clean and reuse.

Better than the robot vacuum
I should have just bought this the first time. I initially saw it but decided to try and save $60 and go with a pool robot that had decent reviews. If you're on the edge like I was, just buy the dang thing. Being new to the pool world this season, we didn't want to purchase a vacuum that cost almost as much as the pool itself. Our pool is fairly close to a tree line and we kept getting a bunch of small seedlings in the pool along with pollen and leaves. Overall, this vacuum works very well. It got up all the decayed leaves that had accumulated while waiting on this to arrive. Not just the leaves, but the gross, slimy bits that had decayed and fallen to the pool floor. It got up the seedlings floating around and even smaller sticks. It has a pretty decent size canister but why I didn't give it a 5 star review is because the filter gets impacted with all the yuck before the canister itself fills. Fresh, larger leaves can also get stuck in the entry tube causing loss of suction. I had to empty the canister about 3 times (18ft round pool) to clear off the filter to allow for full suction to recommence. Granted, the pool was overdo for a cleaning as the other vacuum hadn't worked properly and we had to order and wait on this to arrive. Either way, the filter getting clogged does impact the suction power, and if you have quite a few leaves hanging around the pool floor, they'll likely get stuck trying to vacuum them all up. The pole, while plastic, worked just fine. It didn't bend or break while being used. Only down side, it doesn't reach to the center of the pool if standing outside it. Had to use our adjustable, aluminum pole for that. Charging was pretty quick, easy indication light to know when it's fully powered. If using regularly, 45 minutes should give plenty of time for cleaning an 18' or smaller pool. If a large storm comes through and blows a ton of leaves, pollen, and sticks into the bottom, you might need to recharge before getting your pool back to normal.

Gets the job done!!
I have a 16ft x 32ft in-ground pool surrounded by cement and with a sand filter. My normal vacuum that attaches to skimmer, does not pick up sand from filter or the grit that comes off the cement. You also can not tell what is being vacuumed or just kicked up into the water with the traditional vacuum through skimmer. This Pool Blaster unit picked up A TON of my sand and fine dirt, i saw it when i cleaned the cannister and filter cone (which is very simple to do). On one charge, I was able to vacuum the whole pool twice, close to an hour of time. The pole it comes with is for shallow water, but a traditional skimmer / brush pole can easily attach for the deep end, which mine is 8ft. With a traditional vacuum, you cannot tell when you lose suction, but with this vac, you can feel the pole vibrate slightly until battery runs out. This vacuum is perfect for clean-ups and "hard to suck up" debris.

Work three months and then quit
For the price you you pay for this vacuum, you would think The vacuum would last at least one year but we used it once or twice a week to clean our pool before it stopped working. So we probably used it may be 24 to 28 times. We received on May 20 and it stopped working on August 27. That’s only a couple of months before it stopped working. The vacuum did not even last through the summer before it stopped working. I don’t normally leave any reviews but I don’t want anybody else to purchase an item that will not even work after a few months. I do not recommend this item because of the price and how long The vacuum actually works before it stops working. The warranty only shows 30 days. Wished I had read that before I purchased. This is a few days after it quit working so I added this to my review. I turned it upside down and noticed water dripping out of the on off switch. The water is inside the motor. When I shake it, I can hear the water inside of it.

Pretty good, but has some flaws. Purchase with reasonable expectations
I'll start off by stating we have a robotic pool vac as our primary cleaner, so this was purchased to clean the attached spa, steps and corners the robo vac does not consistently reach. I've used this vac multiple times a week for almost three months and it has generally met my expectations. It is fairly easy to use and the battery lasts quite a while before a re-charge is needed. The suction is good and it pretty much picks up everything we need it to, even some large leaves. But there are a few small flaws. First, and most annoying, is that the canister does not always stay securely seated against the base. I find that when using the unit, if it contacts the side or step of the pool or if too much pressure is used when pushing it, the canister portion slips out from the small lip that holds it in place against the base. The problem this creates is the water in the canister, along with all the small debris, just flows right back out into the pool, negating a lot of the work just completed. It's most noticeable upon retrieval of the unit. So either you'll need to wait for the debris to settle back down and vacuum it again, or leave it for the next time. I've gotten into the habit of checking to make sure the canister and base are good before pulling it out and trying to force it back into place. But even so, some debris and water still flows out. I would say out of the ~20 times I've used it so far, I've NOT had this issue in about 5 of those. Some other reviews note a similar issue. Seems like Pool Blaster needs to re-engineer the unit with a larger lip in the base to keep the canister in place. . The second issue is the unit is too buoyant. I need to keep steady pressure on it to ensure the scrubber stays down. Couple that with the canister issue above and it is clear why that happens so often. The third issue is that some debris is easily stirred up by the shape of the vac head and forced away from it. So sometimes I need to move slowly or approach it at an odd angle. Using nets and the robo vac, I've never seen this before and I have no explanation for it. It's just annoying when some random leaf will blow away from the vac when the head is just about to go over it and suck it up. But in general it has no problem collecting most debris. From my experience, I cannot imagine using this as a primary unit to clean an entire pool unless it was quite small and circular. But as a supplementary cleaner, it works fairly well, but not perfect. If the canister seal issue were fixed it would be a solid 4 and if they addressed the buoyancy issue it would be a 5 star item.

Amazing!
I bought this on July 11th, 2023, and this is our third year with it. It cleans our inflatable hot tub amazingly, and our 18x42 intex easy set pool. Have had zero problems with it! Its great for sand, algae, and those pesky backswimmers or boatmen! We got a second one as a gift that same year for Christmas but have yet to have to break it open because this thing is so amazing! Would 100% purchase again!
