A must have for Arkham fans
The PAK Arkham City Batman is truly an amazing figure. The sculpt work here is amazing, the paint apps are easily just as impressive, and all around, he's a tall, great looking, great displaying figure. Some may take issue with the stylized liberties that Square-Enix took with this figure, such as the blue on the cape, the large shoulder and slimmer waist when compared to the Arkham Asylum Batman, but these things don't bother me personally, and this is one of my favorite figures of all time.Everything here is just done so well. The articulation on this figure is truly impressive, featuring an independently moving neck, butterfly jointed shoulders, pivoting and rocking ankles, and not to mention double hinged knees. Though the cape isn't articulated this time around, Batman can be rather back heavy, and more often than not you'll probably be relying on the tail end of his cape to prop him up. Once he's standing in a cool pose, though, it's absolutely not noticeable. The figure displays wonderfully, and I absolutely can't stress that enough.Though his articulation is limited due to his cape being as long as it is, you do, at the very least, get a bit of leeway with it since it's made from rubbery plastic. This technique is used on multiple portions of this figure, and it really helps for the awesome Bat-poses you're looking to get. The armor on his shins and the floating belt piece are great examples of this, considering his armor just above his feet is made from such a soft rubber material, it doesn't impede articulation at all. It's done really, really well.None of the paint or sculpt work was sacrificed in using this material, either. All of his armor pieces are sculpted amazingly, and the paint is easily just as good, going as far as having a very impressive metallic sheen to it when exposed to light. It looks realistic and flat-out awesome. It's also worth noting that the cape, while blue, isn't as vibrant as what you see in the picture here. It's much darker in person, which I think is an improvement, as it allows it to look more realistically textured through the airbrushed paint apps. All in all, the paint on this figure is near perfection. His accessories received the same care and attention as the rest of the figure. He includes 2 extra hands, alongside the two fist hands placed on the figure in package, an alternate, grimacing head, a batarang, and the grapnel gun, which features a claw attachment and a grapnel line attachment allowing for more dynamic poses, especially if involving some sort of city-scape diorama. All of these accessories look awesome and work functionally awesome with the figure. His hands hold both the grapnel gun and batarang very well. It's a great figure to have around, as I've found myself posing it in a number of different ways for days now with the different accessories, and everything remains looking great. It's easy to tell a lot of thought and care was put into this figure.Overall, he may not be the best Batman figure ever made. Some will undoubtedly prefer the Arkham Asylum version. However, I will say if you're in the market for an awesome Batman figure, you could certainly do a lot worse than this, especially for this price range. I honestly do think this is one of the best Arkham figures of all time, and you really shouldn't pass it up if you're turned off by the paint scheme, because it appears a lot more impressive in person. The sculpts are insanely detailed, the paint work is exceptional, the articulation is awesome, and the accessories are a very welcome addition. Aside from an articulated cape (and maybe a stand) what more could you ask for? Again, it may not be the best Batman figure ever, but it's easily one of the better ones, and I'd go as far to say that I prefer this over the Arkham Asylum version for the enhanced paint work, accessories and articulation. It's also worth noting that the sculpt is much better on both of his heads this time around. They bear much more of a resemblance to the way he appears in game. His hands seem to be rehashed sculpts, but the paint work is just so improved on everything here that you really shouldn't overlook this figure. It's an awesome Batman, and I urge you not to pass this up if you're a fan. You'll be hard pressed to find a more appealing figure for this character at this price range, and Square-Enix really went out of their way to create an amazing looking figure for collectors and general fans alike. It's one of my favorite figures in my collection, and certainly one of my favorite Batman figures. You won't be disappointed with this.

Truly the Ultimate Batman Figure Ever Created!
For many past decades, countless and endless amounts of Batman figures have been produced and released into mass markets and specialty shops. Of those figures released, many have been successfully sold due to the quality and work that went well into it; while other figures languished on store shelves due to the poor quality and effort that went into the figure, making it look cheap and not worth its price tag. However, Play Arts Kai figures pose a different story. Starting with the release of the Batman and Joker from the Arkham Asylum series, PAK has successfully made quite a remarkable profit due to all the artistic and phenomenal work that went into those wonderful, yet almost perfect figures. Then, the series continued on, following with the release of Armored Batman and Harley Quinn as well as the current Arkham City figures. How does this Batman figure live up to the other figures made from the same company? Continue reading on to find out:-Packaging proves to be astonishing with all the amazing box art that PAK put on it, and the open flap that has short read-ups about Batman, Arkham City, and a "Batman resurrected by fierce anger" as well as being able to view the figure inside the packaging. Seriously, this is the best packaging that an action figure can be packed in!-Sculpting is just perfect! The figure looks pretty darn close to its in-game model down from the head sculpt to the textured suit and worn out gauntlets and boots as well as some shading on the suit itself to give it a more "worn-out" look to it. No complaints here.-Paint work is flawless! The darkish blue with shadings of black on the cape and cowl really make this figure stand out more as opposed to a flat black color scheme because it really brings out the details of the cape and cowl itself.-It gets better with the amazing articulation that PAK added onto this figure. This figure can be put into almost any pose possible that you can think of. However, some of the poses are limited due to the hinderance by the cape, which has been the main reason as to why many people who have bought this figure critique this as a major flaw and find themselves disappointed with the figure.-Accessories are the same thing as you get with the past PAK AA Batman figures, only difference this time is you get to detach the claw from the Batclaw and switch it out with a rope shooting out the claw as well as an alternate head, which features an angry expression. I'll be real honest though: I'm not a huge fan of the alternate head as I prefer the primary one, but I do appreciate the fact that PAK included this as an option to those who prefer the angry expression rather than the normal looking head.-Now, onto the main reason why many people refuse to get this figure: the cape. The AA versions had an articulated cape that allowed more dynamic poses to be achieved. However, this figure does not have that feature. I can see why many people view this as a deal-breaker, but it's not necessarily all that bad. Yes, you can't move the cape around all that well, but the material made for the cape is pliable, so it allows for some crouching poses to be achieved, but again, it is limited.Overall, I would say that if you are debating about whether or not to get this figure, it's very worth it! The original AA version currently retails at an extremely high price, and if you don't own that version already, this is a very suitable figure to take its place in your collection. Out of all the Batman figures I own, this one has truly become the DEFINITIVE Batman figure I've been waiting for, and I'm very grateful to have this figure in my collection. Skip all the other Batman figures released in mass markets and get this one. You'll be more than satisfied with your purchase of this figure. Although, some may beg to differ, but it's all just a matter of personal preference.

Love this figure!
Delivery was pretty fast and the figure Batman Arkham city is perfect for me. Awesome details and coloring, like the extra head(looks meaner than the head that it came with) coloring and comes with several gadgets(bathook, with a release look and of course the batarang.) This figure is a little bit bigger than my armored batman but the sculpting is really great. The cape is better on the shoulder part because it moves and allows the arms to move better but the cape itself is kind of stiff and is hard to make sitting poses, but thats fine with me because everthing else is perfect so I gave it 5/5.

Good figure but passable
Well, not super trilled to get him but he is an alright figure.Comparing him to playartskai arkham city No.1 Batman and also the Armoured version, both the arkham asylum figure wins in hands down. The cape is such a letdown. They could have just follow through with the ball join pegs/split cape as collectors finds that approach unique to its line. Then suddenly they decide to glue its cape to his back. no cape articulation.Super bumped about that. However, the good points of this figure is that he has another head, with a more angry face. Looks good.Comes with the batarang and also grappling hook with the hook on a string. 2 pairs of interchangeable hands/fists.Also, love the boxart for this figure. arkham city black/white theme with color splashes of words, with flip open cover. When you flip it out from the velcro, on the left, illustration and story etc.. and on the right there stood batman. Will be anticipating for the 2 other batman versions. cant wait.

Look's like the guy sent me the most crappie boxe in his shop..maybe the DEMO that everybody has touched or tried to steal...I'm so disappointed and of course if I want another one I had to paid for the f... return shipping!!! I have enough ordering stuff from the net!! 80% of the time it's broken or there's something wrong with it!!!!!!!!! Very nice but arrived broken
So this was my first purchase of a Play Arts Kai figure and I must say that it did not make a good first impression. I noticed this toy was broken before even opening the box. Batman's head was not attached and even worse, the piece that holds Batman's head to his body was broken off and I could not put it back in. This is unacceptable for a $50 figure. I read other reviews of people getting Play Arts Kai figures broken right out of the box so this is not a rare thing. Buyer beware that Play Arts Kai have quality control and/or durability issues. This will probably be the last Play Arts Kai figure that I buy.*UPDATE* I received the replacement and it had the exact same issue. Broken head piece. I would not recommend buying this.
